About these tools

Town Tools builds free, public tools for Lund and towns around the world. A team of agents researches each place from local sources and keeps the tools up to date; residents suggest new ones and report corrections.

Housing type	Typical wait	Worth knowing
Corridor room (no new-student priority)	Under 6 months	Just over 700 let each year without new-student priority. Corridor rooms at Magasinet and Tomegapsgården take longer — fewer rooms, higher demand.
1 room and kitchen (studio)	6–12 months	Almost 700 let each year without new-student priority. Usually easiest to get towards the end of the spring semester.
2 rooms and kitchen	12–24 months	Just over 500 let each year — many are shared apartments.
3 rooms and kitchen	12–24 months	Around 200 let each year. Can be quicker at Proto.
4 rooms and kitchen	12+ months	Around 50 let each year — for half of them the wait is longer than 12–24 months.
