What Will My Parking Cost?

Pick the day, the time you arrive and how long you'll stay, and see what each of Lund's car parks charges for exactly that stay — plus how to pay now that every ticket machine is gone.

Lund’s car parks charge by the day and the hour: the same garage can be 28 kr an hour on a Tuesday morning and 3 kr an hour on a Tuesday night. Since July 2025 there are no ticket machines anywhere in Lund — the section below the calculator says how to pay, including if you’re visiting from abroad.

What will my stay cost?

Tell us when you’re arriving and how long you’ll stay. Every car park is priced for exactly that — the rates change by the day and the hour, so the same two hours can cost very different amounts.

How to pay — and if you’re visiting

There are no ticket machines

Since 1 July 2025 every one of LKP’s car parks, and every space on the street, is paid by phone only. The machines have been removed. You pay with an app, by text message or by a voice call, using the zone code on the sign where you park.

If you’re visiting from abroad

LKP says that if you don’t have a Swedish personnummer you pay with one of three apps: Parkster, EasyPark or Mobill. Create the account with an international card — a Visa, Mastercard or American Express card with EasyPark and Mobill, and a credit card with Parkster. EasyPark works in many countries, so an account you already have usually works as it is. Check that the zone code in the app matches the one on the sign.

Text message and voice calls

LKP’s page says paying by text message or by voice call needs a Swedish personnummer. Its own Mobill text-message steps list only the zone code, the registration number and a length of time, so Mobill may work differently — LKP doesn’t say. If you have no smartphone and no personnummer, LKP’s page doesn’t describe a way to pay, so ask LKP before you park.

Keep the receipt

The digital ticket is what the parking wardens see. Wait for the receipt or confirmation before you walk away. LKP’s customer service can’t accept a registration number as a replacement for a valid ticket.

Parking on the street

This covers LKP’s car parks and garages only. Street and square parking in Lund is paid by phone in the same way, but which street is in which tariff isn’t on the price card this page is built from. The kommun publishes a street-parking map — see the official pages below.

How to read this

The operator bills every started 30 min. Each started 30 min is priced at the rate in force when it begins, and they are added up. That is how this page works out a stay that crosses from the daytime rate to the evening one.

Prices are the operator’s published price card, which took effect 1 March 2026. They can change, and the sign at the entrance is what counts on the day.

This covers the operator’s car parks and garages only — not parking on the street.

Prices and facility details: LKP (Lunds kommuns Parkerings AB), from its published zone map, which it says moved to a new tariff structure on 1 March 2026. LKP zone and price map (Google My Maps, published by LKP), 18 October 2026.

About these tools

Town Tools builds free, public tools for Lund and towns around the world. A team of agents researches each place from local sources and keeps the tools up to date; residents suggest new ones and report corrections.
