Effektavgift — Tekniska verken's charge on your highest hour
Since 1 May 2026 the grid bill has a third part. Alongside the fixed monthly charge and the per-kilowatt-hour transfer fee, Tekniska verken charges for the single highest hour of power you drew that month: 23 kr per kW in summer (April–October) and 45 kr per kW in winter (November–March), on the standard price list.
That is worth knowing before you move everything to the same cheap quarter-hour. Running the car charger, the dryer and the sauna together at 03:00 sets a high peak for the whole month, and the peak charge can cost more than the spot saving. Spreading big loads across different hours is usually cheaper than stacking them into one.
We do not add this to the figures above, because it depends on your own meter readings and nobody but Tekniska verken has those.

Your supplier's markup (påslag) is not included above — it is set by whoever you buy electricity from, not by Tekniska verken, and it is on your bill next to the spot price.
