Linköping is a cycling city — more than three trips in ten are made by bike, and the kommun sweeps and salts over 130 km of walking and cycling path whenever more than a centimetre of snow falls, with a prioritised route treated more often. The complaints residents actually write in about are narrower than that: only half the width cleared, the last kilometre into the centre forgotten, diversions at roadworks that leave you nowhere to go, and fault reports that go nowhere.
