Opened at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday 28 April. The Conservation Harvesting Plan issued on 30 March had targeted 25 April; the opening was held back three days for weather and the season was extended by the same three days, which is the rule DFO publishes — one day back for each day lost, up to four.
