The Oulu August Festivals close with a free outdoor carnival on a stage built over the river delta — live music, dance and circus, with the Air Guitar World Championships crowning its 2026 champion on the closing nights.

Four attractions open together under one roof in the old leather factory: Tietomaa science centre, the city museum, the children's museum and the new VISIO experience space, plus an outdoor Adventure Factory. One ticket covers all of it; the children's museum and Adventure Factory are free.
