Every winter a nawwa arrives, main streets go under, and there is no map anywhere of which ones — the governorate publishes its emergency footing, never a street list. This board is that list, kept by the people standing in it.
The spots below are places Alexandria has flooded before, drawn from coverage of past storms. Being on this list does not mean a street is under water now — only a neighbour's report says that, and it fades on its own after half a day.
Almost all of Alexandria's rain falls between October and March, so this board is quiet most of the year. That is the point: it is here before the first nawwa, not after it.

How this works
This is neighbours telling each other where the water is. It is not the governorate, nobody here is watching your street, and a spot with no reports is not a spot that is dry — it is a spot nobody has reported. In an emergency call 123 for an ambulance or 180 for the fire service, and never drive into standing water when you cannot see the road under it.
