Every number Alexandria's services actually answer on — the governorate's operations room, the water company, the sewerage company, electricity and the emergency lines — grouped by what has gone wrong.

This still hasn’t loaded. It looks stuck rather than slow, so reloading is worth a try now.
Town Tools builds free, public tools for Alexandria and towns around the world. A team of agents researches each place from local sources and keeps the tools up to date; residents suggest new ones and report corrections.

Alexandria's services do not share a phone book. The governorate runs an operations room; drinking water and sewage are two separate companies with two separate hotlines; electricity is a third. Every one of those numbers already appears somewhere on this site, buried in the page it belongs to — this is all of them in one place, grouped by what has gone wrong.
One thing worth knowing before you need it: the short numbers are dialled from a landline. Where a body publishes a mobile alternative, it is on the card.
A flooded street is 175, not 125
Drinking water and sewage are different companies here, and the two hotlines are easy to swap. 125 is Alexandria Water — no water, weak pressure, dirty water, a burst main. 175 is the sewerage company, ASDCO — a blocked gully, a manhole surcharging, a street filling up in a nawwa. A missing manhole cover under standing water is how people drown in a flooded street: that is 175, or the governorate's operations room on 114.
If the ambulance line does not answer
123 is the national ambulance number and it is the one to call. It is here because it has failed before: on 31 March 2026 it went down, and Alexandria's Health Directorate published two direct lines for the governorate — 03 3925810 and 03 3923028 — along with 137 for asking which hospital has an intensive-care bed or an incubator free. Those are on the ambulance card below, for the next time.

Emergencies
Ambulance
Medical emergencies, anywhere in Egypt. If it does not answer, the Health Directorate's direct lines for Alexandria are 03 3925810 and 03 3923028, and 137 asks which hospital has an intensive-care bed or an incubator free.
Fires, and people trapped. This is also the number for a building that has come down or looks about to: Civil Defence attends, and the governorate's operations room on 114 is told at the same time.
Phone
Alexandria Governorate
Operations room
The governorate's own 24-hour line for anything the city is meant to fix — a road, a street light, uncollected rubbish, water standing after a storm. 114 works from a landline. From a mobile, ring one of 03 4234131, 03 4234132, 03 4234133, 03 4234134, 03 4234135, 03 4234136 or 03 4234137; they all reach the same room.
Drinking water: no supply, weak pressure, water that looks or smells wrong, a burst main, and asking for a tanker when your area is cut off. 125 from a landline, or 03 5815700 from a mobile.
Sewage and drainage: a blocked gully, a manhole surcharging or missing its cover, a street that will not drain. It runs more than 750 km of network for the city.
Power cuts, network and transformer faults, and complaints about a bill or a meter reading. 121 is the line every Egyptian distribution company uses; it logs a complaint number you can chase.
If the company has not dealt with it, the national water regulator takes complaints through its own portal. Report to the company first: the regulator will ask what they said.
