Water is your metered usage at the rates above. There is no standing charge on top of it.
Sewerage is billed on the same metered volume as the water — there is no second meter, so one number covers both halves of the bill.
The town's water utility asked to raise the tariff from 1 August 2026, and for most households that would be a jump of roughly a third. Checked again on 31 July 2026, the day before that date: the increase has still not been adopted. The rates below are the ones in the draft, not the ones on your next bill — see "Still not adopted, on the eve of 1 August" below for what has and has not happened.
This works out what your own bill would be at the proposed rates, because the rate you pay depends on how many people are registered at your address, not just on how much water you use. Why the bills keep rising
Still not adopted, on the eve of 1 August
Re-checked on 31 July 2026. Three things are true at once, and none of them has changed since the draft appeared. The executive committee — the body that adopts this tariff — has not sat since 1 July 2026; its decisions that day ran to №69 and none of them is this. The draft of 16 July is still filed under «Проекти рішень виконкому», where drafts live, and it is still the only item on that page. And a search of the council's document register for «тариф» returns nothing newer than decision №12 of 24 February 2026, which is about a different utility; the last water and sewerage tariffs the committee set are decision №126 of 29 October 2024. So 1 August is a date written in a draft, not a date that has been fixed. Unless a numbered decision appears first, your August bill is at today's rates.
A tariff only takes effect once the executive committee adopts a numbered decision and it is published. Two pages carry that moment, both of them the council's own: the document register at yaremcha-miskrada.gov.ua/docs/, filtered to «Рішення виконавчого комітету», and the drafts page, where this item would stop being a draft. What appears will look like the ones before it — a number, a date, and the title «Про встановлення тарифів на послуги з централізованого водопостачання та централізованого водовідведення». Until then, a bill charging 30,00 UAH per m³ has nothing behind it, and the utility's own line, (03434) 2-20-78, is the place to query one.
The notice gives the reason as the price of electricity, which it says has gone from 9,00 to 16,00 UAH per kWh, together with wages. Its costing puts the full cost of each service at 50,00 UAH per m³ before VAT, on 178.0 thousand m³ of expected sales a year, with calculated profit set at zero. The draft also asks the city council to budget money to cover the utility for the difference between the household rate and the full rate.
The rate in force since 1 January 2025 for water inside the norm is 19,17 UAH per m³ excluding VAT, and the same again for sewerage — held at the level that applied on 24 February 2022. With VAT at 20% that is 23,00 each, so 46,00 UAH per m³ for the two together. The proposal takes that to 60,00. The VAT arithmetic is ours: the council quotes the current rates without VAT and the new ones with it, which is why the two sets of numbers look further apart than they are.
The council's notice describes the household increase as «ріст на 7 грн/м³, або на 130%». Neither figure survives checking: 19,17 to 30,00 is a rise of 10,83 UAH per m³, and 130% looks like the new rate expressed as a proportion of the old rather than the growth in it. This page shows the tariffs themselves and lets you do the sum on your own usage, rather than repeating percentages that are wrong.
Businesses, budget bodies and everyone outside the norm
Anyone who is not a household consumer pays 60,00 UAH per m³ for water and 60,00 for sewerage under the draft, against 40,00 and 35,00 excluding VAT today. Households pay that same 60,00 rate on every cubic metre above the norm — which is what makes the number of people registered at an address matter so much.
Rubbish is billed separately, and not by the cubic metre
Household waste collection is a flat monthly charge per household, and which one you pay depends on who collects from you: 160,00 UAH with КП «Благоустрій» and 100,00 UAH with СКП «Добробут-М», both in force since 1 July 2025 under executive-committee decision №60 of 24 June 2025. Bulky and construction waste is taken at 4 576,00 UAH per tonne. None of that is included in the figure above.
The utility — КП ВУВКГ м. Яремче, vul. Dovbusha 86 — takes comments on the tariff at jaremche_vuvkg@ukr.net and on (03434) 2-20-78 or (03434) 2-27-63. The formal seven-day comment window closed in early July, but the decision is still unadopted, and the executive committee is the body that adopts it: vul. Svobody 266, (03434) 2-24-94. Its sittings are public and its decisions are published afterwards. Yaremche residents have organised on this before — an electronic petition against a water price rise collected 84 signatures in 2020.
