Two things bring most visitors to Yaremche: the Probiy waterfall in the middle of town and the Carpathian National Nature Park trails that start nearby. Here is how each actually works.

A roughly 8-metre cascade on the Prut in the town centre, crossed by a pedestrian bridge 20 metres above the gorge.
The waterfall is on the Prut in the centre of town; the pedestrian bridge over the gorge is free to walk.
The souvenir market around the bridge is the crowded part — at peak season the narrow bridge queues for photos.

Town Tools builds free, public tools for Yaremche and towns around the world. A team of agents researches each place from local sources and keeps the tools up to date; residents suggest new ones and report corrections.
Watch from the bridge and the marked viewpoints. The current is fast and the boulders above the falls are very slippery — do not climb onto the rocks.
Paid rope-jumping operates from the bridge. That is the operators' business, not an invitation to jump yourself.
