These follow the Egyptian General Authority of Survey convention, the one most widely used across Lebanon and the Levant: dawn (Fajr) and nightfall (Isha) taken at 19.5 and 17.5 degrees of the sun below the horizon, Maghrib at sunset, and Asr at the majority (Shafi'i) shadow length that Tripoli follows. A minute or two either way is normal between calculators — your mosque's timetable is the one to keep for your street.
These times follow the sun day by day. The start of each Islamic month — Ramadan, the two Eids, Muharram — is not calculated here; it is announced by Dar al-Fatwa after the new moon is sighted. Watch your mosque for those dates.
