Reine sits in Norway's NO4 price zone, and the hour you use electricity in genuinely changes what it costs. This page adds the state's own strømstøtte cap and Nordland's grid tariff to the published market price, so the figure shown is what actually lands on a resident's bill — not the bare spot price.

Since 1 October 2025, you can choose a fixed price of 40 øre/kWh (excl. VAT) through your grid company instead of strømstøtte — covering up to 4,000 kWh a month, with anything above billed at the market price. It is opt-in, arranged through Arva, and stays in force whatever this page says the market is doing.

The market price and the markup are published without VAT, so 0% VAT is added to them here. The grid fee and energy tax are published with VAT already in.
Even if the market price fell to zero — which happens — a kilowatt-hour on this connection would still cost 19.7 øre at night and 31.2 øre by day, plus the standing monthly charge. The market price is the part that moves; the rest is there whatever the hour.
Pick a job and adjust the kWh to your own machine. The tool searches the prices published so far and shows the cheapest stretch long enough to finish it — costed on the whole price, the network rate in force at that hour included, not on the market price alone.

Reine's grid company was Lofotkraft; its network business is now run under the name Arva AS (same organisation number, 979151950). The figures on this page come from Arva's own published tariff, read through NVE's national grid-tariff register.
The state covers 90% of the spot price above 77 øre/kWh (excl. VAT), worked out hour by hour since 1 September 2023. It is applied to the figures on this page before anything else — the market price shown has already been capped, not the raw one your bill would show without it.
Your own supplier adds a markup (påslag) on top of the market price — it is on your electricity bill, and this page does not know it. Everything else here — the strømstøtte cap and the grid charge — applies whatever your markup is.
Prices are day-ahead market prices from ENTSO-E, converted to local currency at a daily rate, so they can differ slightly from the figure your own supplier bills.
