Munnar has no published taxi or jeep tariff, and a day here is a string of separate asks. But it does have something most hill stations don't: the district administration publishes its own rates for the DTPC tours and for boating, and Eravikulam publishes its ticket prices. Tick what you plan to do and this page adds up the part that is on the record.
Everything below is a published figure with a date, not a guess. Where a number is missing — and the biggest one is — this page says so rather than inventing it.

₹400 a head, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Mattupetty, Echo Point, Kundala, Top Station and Rajamala. Booked at the DTPC counter in Munnar, 04865-231516.
Watch for: A private operator quoting a higher price for "the DTPC tour". Private operators run the same circuit at their own prices, which is legitimate — it just isn't this rate.
₹400 a head, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Nyamakkad viewpoint, Lakkom waterfalls, Vaguvarai viewpoint and the coffee and tea plantations.
₹400 a head, 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Devikulam, the viewpoints, Chinnakanal and the waterfalls.
₹200 for an Indian adult, ₹500 for a foreign national, plus a ₹50 reservation charge and ₹50 for an ordinary camera (₹350 for a video camera). Time-slotted, last entry 2 p.m.
Watch for: Any booking site other than eravikulamnationalpark.in. Lookalike domains exist, and visitors have reported paying and receiving no ticket.
₹1,400 for the boat, not per head — 20 seats, 30 minutes. Boating runs 9.00 to 17.30.
Watch for: Being charged per person for a boat that is priced per boat. Work out the split before you get in.
₹600 for the boat, maximum five people, 15 minutes.
₹30 a person for 30 minutes — the cheapest water on the published list.
₹50 to ₹100 per boat for 30 minutes, depending on the boat.
₹200 per boat, up to three people, 15 minutes.
₹25 an hour or ₹150 for the day, per cycle.
A range, because these prices are agreed, not fixed. Agree each one before you start.
Where these numbers come from — and the one they can't give you
Unusually for a page like this, most of these are not crowd-reported guesses. They are the Idukki district administration's own published rates for its DTPC tours and boating, last updated on 8 June 2026, plus Eravikulam National Park's published ticket prices. Where a figure is a range, the rate itself is a range — an Indian adult and a foreign national pay different Eravikulam tickets, and a pedal boat is ₹50 to ₹100. What nobody publishes is the taxi, jeep and auto fare. It is usually the largest single cost of a Munnar day and the one visitors are most often overcharged on, and there is no chart to appeal to: DTPC publishes none, and Kerala's statewide motor-vehicles tariff could not be reached. A prepaid taxi counter was announced on 21 June 2026 to open alongside the new traffic rules, and has not been reported as open. Until it is, agree the price before the vehicle moves — and read any total here as the published part of your day, not the whole of it. Rates drift, and the district can revise them without notice.
