Collection is usually every Wednesday.

The only week garbage and bulky items go out. Comes around every second collection, all year.
Paper, in a blue bag, Recycling containers, in a separate blue bag, Cardboard
Paper and recycling only — no garbage and no green cart this week. This is the cold-months alternate week.

Summer weeks (June to August): the organics cart is added to the paper & recycling week, so the cart goes out every week through the warm months. No garbage this week.
Put good, reusable things you no longer need at the roadside with a "FREE" sign, from 7 am Saturday to 5 pm Sunday, and take home anything you can use. Whatever's left on Sunday evening is yours to bring back in.
The once-a-year pickup of scrap wood and metal — up to about 4 cubic metres. Keep wood and metal in separate piles and remove any nails or brackets sticking out more than 6 inches.
Up to three electronic items on the day — TVs, computers, small appliances. Year-round, you can also drop electronics at the depot at 908 Mullock Road, Whynott's Settlement.
The fall extra pickup for leaves and yard waste. Paper bags or the green cart — no plastic. Up to 3 bags if your green cart is also out that week, 4 if not.
