Neighbours are starting to report the roads — tap to see.
The DN1 run to Florești is the most congested road in Romania — around 60,000 cars a day, and a Florești-to-Cluj trip that can take the better part of two hours at peak. When there's a crash, a breakdown or a lane closure, the people already stuck in it know long before any official page does. Tap a road to say how it's moving right now, and check before you set off.

DN1 / E60 Cluj–Florești
The main westbound corridor to Florești and Oradea — the country's busiest stretch. The widening from four lanes to six, with a dedicated bus and emergency lane each way, stood at 92% in early July 2026; the city has August down for road markings and the new traffic lights, and expects full traffic from 1 September. The daily bottleneck either way.

Florești pasaj (overpass) works
The overpass at the access to the future Regional Emergency Hospital, built as part of the widening. It ran roughly a year past its original end-2025 deadline; by August 2026 it is in the same final safety works as the rest of the corridor, so expect marking crews and short lane shifts rather than the long diversions of 2025.

Calea Florești
The in-city street feeding DN1 westbound past Grigorescu and the edge of Mănăștur; backs up approaching the Florești boundary.

Calea Mănăștur
The main artery of Mănăștur toward Piața Mărăști and the centre; heavy on the morning run in.

Calea Turzii
The southern corridor toward the A3 motorway, Turda and the Bună Ziua / Europa districts; recurring jams.

Calea Baciului
North-west toward Baciu and the industrial edge; the other growing commuter direction alongside Florești and Apahida.
These are neighbours, not an official service. Live closures and incidents are here: Poliția Rutieră · 112 — Romania's single emergency number is 112 — call it for a crash or anything blocking the road. There is no official live traffic map for Cluj, so this board is neighbours helping neighbours.Report a hazard: 112
How this works
Each report counts for about 6 hours, then drops off on its own. A road shows once at least 1 recent report is in; when several are in we show the middle one, so a single voice can’t swing it.
These are neighbours, not an official service, and a quiet board doesn't mean every road is clear. For a crash or anything dangerous call 112. The Cluj–Florești widening reached 92% in early July 2026; the city's own schedule puts road markings and the new traffic-light system through August, and full traffic on all six lanes from 1 September 2026 — including about 3.5 km of dedicated bus and emergency lane between Calvaria and the hospital site. Until it opens the works are still part of the jam, and the first weeks of a new layout are their own kind of slow. Give yourself extra time on the school-year mornings.
