Some towns cannot answer "is the river coming up" from a single gauge. The new river-chain kind shows every gauge from far upstream down to town, each against the alert levels its own water authority publishes for it, so a reading means something without a resident having to remember what is high where. It reads the two Malaysian gauge networks, including DID Sarawak's own portal, which is new here — the federal one had stopped reporting real levels for that state.

HSU takes urgent cases at its reception until 16:00 on weekdays, an hour after the clinic itself closes at 15:00. The page had been telling people to ring 1700 first from 15:00 — for that hour you can simply go in. Outside 08:00–16:00 on weekdays, and at weekends and holidays, calling 1700 first still applies. The HSU link now points at the Vestmannaeyjar page on island.is, since hsu.is has moved.
The summer timetable ends on 23 August, and until now the page had nothing to show after it — it sent you to herjolfur.is. It now carries Herjólfur's year-round almenn áætlun as well: seven sailings each way, every day, 07:00 to 22:00 from Heimaey and 08:15 to 23:15 from Landeyjahöfn. Added too: on a Þorlákshöfn reroute, bookings on the 07:00 and 17:00 from Vestmannaeyjar and the 10:45 and 20:45 from Landeyjahöfn move between the harbours automatically — you do not need to rebook, but you do need to know which harbour to drive to.
Type what you are holding — in English or Icelandic — and it says which bin it goes in, from Vestmannaeyjabær's own lists. It also carries the rules that catch people out here: bins within 15 metres of where the lorry stops, food waste in a paper bag, deposit cans back to Endurvinnslan rather than a container, and the reminder that a bin which blows away is the householder's liability.

The page read Malaysia's national flood portal, which has been publishing a flat zero for almost every gauge in Sarawak — so rather than print a false level, the page had been saying the gauge was not reporting. It now reads DID Sarawak's own portal, which has had real readings all along. Our apologies: it shipped on 13 August and has been blank since.
The water that floods Sibu falls days earlier in Kapit, Baleh, Song and Kanowit. This page reads all nine gauges at once, in the order the water travels, and puts each reading against the alert levels the Drainage and Irrigation Department publishes for that exact gauge. The gauges from Kanowit down are marked tidal, because they rise and fall by more than two metres a day on their own — at those, the height matters and the direction does not.

Towns whose pharmacies take turns covering the night can now show which one is on duty right now, its address and phone, the surcharge for calling after hours, and the out-of-hours doctor. It reads the published roster, and it knows that a duty turn runs from 8am to 8am — so at 2am it names last night's pharmacy, not this morning's. First use: Esch-sur-Alzette.

The Old Town has lost its bookshops, its ordinary retail and its craft workshops to souvenir shops, and residents have said so for years. A check that finds tools serving a language a town did not ask for was missing some of them, because of where a note was written in the code rather than anything about the pages themselves. With that repaired, four tools turned out to be showing English on pages meant to be read in German, French and Lithuanian — in Alpbach, Koudougou, Kpalimé and Šiauliai. All four are now in the right language.
A town used to have exactly one name search would match, which forced a choice on any place whose local name differs from the one the rest of the world uses: be readable to the people who live there, or be findable by everyone else. Search now also matches a town's other names, so Teriberka can be «Териберка» on its own pages and still turn up when you type Teriberka.
Teriberka, a village of about 500 people on the Barents coast, had every page about it written in English. Russian was not a language the site could serve, so there was no way to fix that. It is now, and Teriberka's five tools, its town page and the navigation around them are all in Russian. Any Russian-speaking place added from here starts out in its own language.
