Kingston's collection week has four rules and they interact. Garbage and the green bin go out weekly. The blue box and the grey box alternate, so which one is due depends on the week rather than the day. A statutory holiday pushes the rest of that week a day later. And roughly every fourth week a second untagged bag is taken. Type your address and this reads the City's own waste calendar for it — the same schedule behind the Kingston Waste App — and shows the next six weeks of dates with exactly what goes out on each one. The dates come from the City with the holiday shifts already applied; the tool computes none of them. It also carries the things a date can't tell you: one bag free and $4 a tag after that, which addresses have changed over to carts (15,134 of them so far, against 62,383 still on bags), and that the blue and grey boxes are Emterra's to fix rather than the City's. Apartment and condo buildings usually arrange their own collection, so an address in one may find nothing here. That is not a fault — the building's own schedule is the one that applies.

The first reads Gasvaktin's open national price file, so any Icelandic town can now show what each of its forecourts is charging and what that does to a regular drive. The second turns a municipality's annual waste leaflet into a search box: the street directory lives in the page, so typing a street answers instantly with no request leaving the browser. Both are reusable by other towns with nothing but a change of numbers.
What each forecourt in Selfoss is charging right now, read from Gasvaktin, with what a fuel card actually saves and what the Reykjavík run costs over a year at today's cheapest price. It also compares the cheapest pump here with the cheapest one you pass coming into the capital — computed each time, not assumed.

Two additions towns can reuse. A new tool kind prices a municipal per-item packaging tax — the rate table, the worked cost of one sale, a trading year's total and the declaration deadline — which Konstanz and Freiburg can now have as configuration. And the neighbour-reported road board gained a border-queue wording, for foot crossings whose wait nobody publishes.
The 07:00–19:00 hours were read again at the Police and Border Guard Board today. They date from 15 June and were reported at the time as a summer measure running until September, while the Board's own page carries no end date at all. The page now says both, instead of presenting one of them as settled.
Nobody publishes how long the pedestrian queue is. Estonia's national queue system covers vehicle lanes, and this crossing has not had one since February 2024 — so the only people who know are the ones standing in it. Sign in to say how long it is, in either direction; the board shows the middle of the recent reports rather than any one voice, and reports drop off after three hours on their own.
Any town running the school-meals tool can now offer parents an alert: pick a school and the ingredients that matter, and get an email on the days the school's own published menu marks one of them. No account needed, one click to stop. Signups are also now checked against the tool's own list of schools before anything is stored.
The estimator kind gained an optional payment schedule: the instalments a year is split into, their deadlines, what a late payment costs and where it can be paid. Where a town fills it in, the town page also shows the next deadline and counts down to it. Towns whose configs do not carry one are unchanged.

One new kind is for an island whose ferry can land at two different mainland harbours, and answers what the far side costs you either way. The other is for a town whose trading calendar is three separate things — a monthly open-air market on an ordinal weekday, a covered hall with its own hours and its own closure dates, and a set of annual fairs. Separately, the town-bus timetables can now carry a list of public holidays and the weekday whose timetable those days follow, so a holiday no longer shows the weekday service; and the safety note on the crossing-conditions pages now makes the phone numbers in it tappable.

The page called the three-metre wave a local rule of thumb. It is more than that: Vegagerðin, which owns Landeyjahöfn, publishes the figures it uses — a mean wave of 2.5 to 3 metres counts as a possible cause of disruption and above 3 metres as a cause, and 13 to 16 metres a second of wind as possible with above 16 a cause. Both are now on the page, alongside the third figure it cannot show you: the depth in the harbour mouth is published nowhere, and Herjólfur decides each sailing on its own.
The Herjólfur lands at Landeyjahöfn most days and at Þorlákshöfn when storms or sand shut that entrance, and the two mean very different days. The new page costs both of them out for Reykjavík, Keflavík Airport, Selfoss and Hvolsvöllur: the crossing plus the drive, the time you have to leave to make a sailing, and what Vegagerðin is reporting on each drive right now. Going to Reykjavík, a Þorlákshöfn day is about an hour longer. Going to Hvolsvöllur it is nearly three hours longer.
The city centre busy calendar and the footstreets access page now carry the 2026 Christmas Market's confirmed dates (12 November to 21 December, closed Tuesdays), which weren't published yet when those pages were first built.

The pages that list a town's recurring year built a multi-day date by gluing two formatted halves together, which was right in the language it was written for and wrong elsewhere. A German reader saw "16–20. September 2026" where the first day wants its period too, and an American one saw "29–September 30, 2026", which is not a date. Both now come from the same call that already handles the town's country conventions, so Taos reads "September 29 – 30, 2026", Tübingen "16.–20. September 2026" and Salamanca "8–15 de septiembre de 2026".

Wo nur der Veranstalter den Tag festlegen kann, stehen die angekündigten Termine — und wenn keiner mehr aussteht, nennt die Seite die Regel statt eines geratenen Datums.

The neighbour-report boards can now be read in Danish — the wording, the three levels and the dashboard widget — so a Danish town can run one without meeting an English page. And a formatting bug is fixed: Icelandic pages were writing a plain number one way and an amount of money the other, so the same page could show 1.234.567,5 in one line and kr 1,234,567 in the next. Both now group the way Iceland does.
Sjúkratryggingar reimburse two-thirds of the fare on four journeys a calendar year — and the part that is easy to miss, your own share is capped at 1.500 kr. for a journey there and back, whatever the flight cost. The page works that out for a flight, a bus or your own car at the current 41,01 kr. a kilometre, shows every line of the arithmetic, and names the regulation each figure comes from. Two things it corrects along the way: the doctor-signed Skýrsla is not needed for the ordinary four trips, and there is no twelve-month claim deadline — the limit is two years, and it sits in the Act rather than the regulation.

Some tool pages printed a paragraph again a screen or two further down — a festival's whole description repeated in the year list, a parking page naming the same paid car parks three times. A new fleet-wide check finds them; the festival and parking pages are fixed, and the rest are queued.

The swimming page listed the free beaches as "Abtal al-Tahaddi and Gomrok". That was wrong, and wrong in the way that costs somebody a trip: Gomrok is the district Abtal al-Tahaddi stands in, not a second free beach. There are two free beaches, and the other one is **Hanoville al-Aam, in Agami** — free entry, and free chairs, umbrellas, toilets and changing rooms, the same as Abtal al-Tahaddi. Watch the name: the beach called simply Hanoville is a different beach in the same district and is in the 10 EGP band. The page had that one down as a price that "moved during the season", which was the same confusion seen from the other side. The rest of the grading is now spelled out rather than summarised — 5 EGP at a general beach, 10 where a chair and umbrella are brought to you (or 5 with your own), 15 or 20 at a beach graded distinguished, 25 or 30 at one graded tourist — with the named beaches in each band. The administration held 2026 prices at last year's. Checked against Masrawy on 11 July 2026 and Al-Ahram Gate on 7 April 2026, both quoting the head of the Tourism and Resorts Administration. Neither names all 43 beaches, so this is the grading, not a full list — ask at the gate. Nothing about the flags has changed, and nothing about them will: this page never shows a flag colour. The flag on the pole is the only word on whether you may swim.
Alexandria's numbers were all on this site already, and that was the problem: 114 and 175 were on the flooding board, 123 and 122 were on the swimming page, and there was nothing anywhere for drinking water or electricity. You had to already be on the right page to find the right number. They are now on one page, grouped by what has gone wrong rather than by which body owns it, and every one of them is a tap on a phone. Two things on it are worth knowing before you need them. **A flooded street is 175, not 125.** Drinking water and sewage are separate companies here, and the hotlines are easy to swap: 125 is Alexandria Water — no supply, weak pressure, a burst main. 175 is the sewerage company, ASDCO — a blocked gully, a surcharging manhole, a street that will not drain. A cover missing under standing water is a 175 call, and it is how people drown in a flooded street. **And 123 has failed here.** It is the national ambulance number and it is still the one to call, but on 31 March 2026 it went down, and Alexandria's Health Directorate published two direct lines for the governorate — 03 3925810 and 03 3923028 — along with 137 for asking which hospital has an intensive-care bed or an incubator free. Those are on the ambulance card, rather than in a news archive nobody will search at two in the morning. The governorate's operations room is 114 from a landline, or any of 03 4234131 to 03 4234137 from a mobile — all seven reach the same room, all day, every day. Checking these turned up ASDCO's own site, which is the first Alexandria-specific official body we have been able to load. The flooding board now points at it, with its head office and hours, instead of at the national holding company.

A new tool kind, enrolment-round, for towns whose nursery or school places are allocated in dated rounds with published tie-break rules — it works out where today sits in the calendar rather than listing dates that go stale, and it reports what past rounds actually did instead of predicting anything. Three existing kinds grew: the neighbour-reported board can now cover a town's public lifts and funiculars, the commute calculator can price fuel in litres per 100 kilometres over kilometres instead of assuming miles and gallons, and the lifts-and-funiculars page can read an operator's own published service notices and gained a small panel for how many plants are listed as stopped. One change came from reading real pages rather than from a failing test: a calculator now puts its input boxes above the explanation, because a box below the fold looks like a page that does nothing.
Cairo's utilities are separate corporate bodies with their own hotlines, not one city hall. Emergency services, the governorate's 24-hour operations room, the water regulator's drinking-water and wastewater lines, and the electricity fault hotline — grouped, with tappable numbers.
Cluj's municipal creșe publish four things about enrolment, in four different places: the calendar of stages, the departajare criteria applied when a creșă gets more applications than it has free places, a page per creșă with its address and capacity, and a statistics sheet going back to 2015. The new page puts them together and works out from today's date which stage, if any, is open — so it says "the 2026-2027 round is over" now rather than listing five dates from the spring. The figures are the city's own, and they are the reason the page exists: 1,238 applications were turned down in 2020-2021 and 244 in 2026-2027. They are a record of what happened, not a forecast — the page does not work out anyone's chance of a place, and the criteria are shown as the published list they are, not as a test of whether a child qualifies. Two rules sit near the top because they are the ones that cost families a place: once an application is validated nothing more can be added to the file, and once results are posted there is no appeal. This covers creșă (antepreșcolar) only. Grădinița is a separate round run by ISJ Cluj on its own calendar, and the page links it. The next calendar is normally published at the end of April.
The monthly-cost page quoted 114 lei for the Baciu metropolitan pass beside 115 for Florești and 165 for Apahida. CTP publishes two Baciu passes: 114 lei if you stay on the single line M31, and 180 lei for the unrestricted one — and 180 is the figure that compares with the other two. Nothing was wrong, but one number was answering a different question from the two next to it, which made Baciu look like the cheapest commune to commute from when it is the dearest of the three. Florești and Cluj-Napoca are ten minutes apart and about fifty thousand people make the trip twice a day. This adds up what each way actually costs over a year: the M21/M24/M26 pass, driving in and paying for a central garage, driving in and parking free outside the paid zones, or the cheaper day car parks. Set your own days a week, your own fuel price and your own consumption; nothing is saved and nothing is sent. It compares money, not time — the DN1 board and the departures board answer that, and both are linked from the page. Fares read from CTP's own tariff pages on 29 August 2026, parking from the city's published plans, fuel from the European Commission's Weekly Oil Bulletin for the week of 24 August. Students under 30 at a Cluj university travel free, so the bus column is zero for them.

AMT pubblica gli orari degli impianti, non se stanno funzionando. Chi lo sa è chi ci è appena passato, e adesso c'è un posto dove dirlo: i 14 ascensori, le due funicolari e la cremagliera, più i tre ascensori delle Streghe a Nervi, che non compaiono in nessun elenco pubblico. Si tocca l'impianto e si dice se funziona, se è fermo oggi o se è fermo da giorni. Per leggere non serve l'accesso; per segnalare sì, ed è quello che tiene fuori chi vuole solo far danno. Resta una raccolta di segnalazioni, non lo stato ufficiale: il canale di AMT è linkato in fondo alla pagina.
If a page tells you to ring the council, the number is a link now — one tap opens your phone's dialler instead of you copying seven digits out by hand. The same goes for email addresses and web addresses written into a page. A new site-wide check found around 800 of these sitting as plain text across 373 pages; most are fixed and the rest are on the list.
Put the 2024 market value from your MBAS notice in the box and it works out roughly what a year comes to at the published rates — 0.11% for an ordinary house, 0.09% for low-cost housing, 0.3% for a commercial building.
