Our culture notes listed it as an annual summer fixture. It ran four editions at Pärnu beach, 2015 to 2018, and the last was that August. The notes now carry the autumn dates that were missing instead — the Two Bridges Race on the first weekend of September, and ÖÖvalgel at the turn of October.
It had been showing grades copied by hand on 13 July. It now reads Terviseamet's national register on every visit, so each beach carries its own last sample date — 10 August for the city beaches — beside its four-year class, with the laboratory results underneath. It also says plainly that sampling stopped with the season on 31 August, which the old page had no way of telling you.
Beach parking is charged 1 May to 31 August, Supeluse tänav is car-free from 18 May, the lifeguards and the water testing run 1 June to 31 August, and Valgerand keeps its own season to 15 September. Those dates decide a lot and were scattered across four council pages. They are now on one page, in the order they come around, with Hansapäevad, the Music Festival, the Two Bridges Race and ÖÖvalgel alongside them.
On the neighbour-run bin-collection boards, the council number to report a missed collection, the note beside the official link and the closing context line were all printed as plain text. On a phone that is the difference between one tap and copying seven digits by hand. They are now links, on every town that runs one of these boards. The site has always had a linkifier and it was simply never asked here. Santa Ana's board was showing the alcaldía's 2402-7570 and ANDRES's 2501-0203 that way.
Macedonian was added for Ohrid. A town's pages are written in the town's language, and that now includes the frame around them: the navigation, the status badges, the "Source: … checked 13 June" line under every fact, the correction form, the offline banner, the emails and the town page itself. Adding a language here is not a settings change. Two things Macedonian needed that a word-for-word pass would have got wrong are now in the code where the next language will find them: it puts every number ending in 1 except 11 in the singular, so counted strings are decided by the language's own rules rather than an English test; and the status badges sit above three different nouns with three different genders, so they are written in forms that agree with nothing. One bug turned up while translating and is fixed for everyone. The lake-wind pages formatted every date through a hand-written table that answered American English for nine of the nineteen languages — so a Russian, Polish, Hungarian, Dutch, Korean, Lithuanian, Danish or Italian town read "Friday, August 14" under a headline in its own language, and every Spanish-language town was given Argentina's number conventions. Those pages now use the same date settings as the rest of the site, which come from the town's country.

Ahora dice 5,7 km, como el resto del sitio.
El horario del tren Cartago – San José existe y es público, pero está publicado como dos imágenes en el sitio del Incofer: no se puede buscar, no se puede copiar y en el teléfono cuesta leerlo. Lo transcribimos entero, las dos direcciones y catorce salidas cada una, y lo pusimos a correr contra el reloj: cuál es el próximo tren desde la parada suya, cuánto falta y cuáles ya se fueron. La página dice también lo que el horario no dice de frente. Solo hay tren de lunes a viernes. Hay un hueco de casi siete horas a media mañana: de la Estación de Cartago no sale nada entre las 9:01 a. m. y las 3:50 p. m. Y en los feriados de ley no corre, aunque el Incofer no publica un calendario — lo anuncia día por día en sus redes, así que ahí lo mandamos a confirmar. De las diez paradas de la hoja mostramos seis. Faltan Ulatina y, del lado de Cartago, Los Ángeles, Oreamuno y Plaza Paraíso, que solo aparecen en algunas salidas; la hoja completa del Incofer queda enlazada arriba.

Erstens die Regel für Studierende, die oft nur zur Hälfte erzählt wird: Wohnen im Haushalt ausschließlich Menschen, die dem Grunde nach BAföG bekommen könnten, gibt es kein Wohngeld — aber sobald eine Person das nicht könnte, gilt der Ausschluss nicht mehr, und wer etwa die Förderungshöchstdauer überschritten hat, war nie ausgeschlossen. Until now our check could spot a table that had copied English into another language's slot, and a page with no table at all — but not a table that simply had no row for the language, which falls back to English silently. When a page was slow to load, it used to say "there's no need to reload" and keep saying it. That is true of a slow page and wrong about a stuck one, and it left anyone waiting with nothing to do. After 45 seconds a page now tells you plainly that it looks stuck, and offers a reload and a link to the rest of your town's tools. Behind it, two new checks: one that catches the fault that causes this before the code ships, and one that asks the live site every page whether it really finished loading.
From June until today, "What's being built near you" would sometimes stop at a loading message and never show anything — and because the rest of the page looked normal, there was nothing to say it was broken. It is fixed. The applications near the town centre, the deadlines for commenting, and the links through to Guildford Borough Council's own register are all back. Getting in and out of a car-free town was the biggest gap on Piran's page. Two new tools close it. **The Piran Minibus.** Okolje Piran publishes the Fornače–Tartinijev trg timetable as four long tables of times. This reads them against the clock and tells you the next one. It also sets out the thing that catches people: the free travel residents and parking-permit holders are entitled to is not automatic — you have to activate a card or the app in person with an ID document, and it expires a year later and has to be renewed. Okolje's office on Dantejeva ulica does it on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings only. The page now also handles the late runs properly. The minibus goes until 01:45, and until today the page would have told you at 23:00 that there were no more buses. **Buses Out of Piran.** What the Arriva city bus costs, where to buy a ticket without leaving the old town, and how to pay. Two things worth knowing before you travel: there is no cash fare at all, and buying before you board costs €1 against €2 on the bus — the same ride for half the money. And Slovenia's free travel pass for pensioners, over-65s, war veterans and European Disability Card holders covers Ljubljana, Maribor, Koper, Kranj and Novo mesto — not Piran. It will take you to Koper for nothing and still charge you to reach the health centre in Lucija. The €13 monthly resident ticket is the thing to ask about instead. There is no live departures board yet. Slovenia's national timetable data needs an approved account we do not have, and Arriva's own PDF sheets carry dates that contradict each other, so we have linked them rather than copying them. **Two corrections to Who to Call.** We implied there is no GP left in the old town. There are two, at Cankarjevo nabrežje 9a, and they are now on the page. And the pharmacy's hours were wrong: it is open until 20:00 on Mondays, and it closes for half an hour at 10:00 and again at 16:00 every day — which our old hours would have sent you there in the middle of.
Two things were added to Lusaka's page today, and one existing page was corrected. **What Your Electricity Money Buys.** The residential tariff is stepped — the first 100 units of the month cost K0.35 each before tax and the next 100 cost K1.00 — so the same K100 buys very different amounts depending on what the meter has already used. This works it out for you, shows what the units will actually run, and lets you check a purchase you have already made against the published rate. The figures come from the Energy Regulation Board's own decision of 31 October 2025, with the 3% excise duty and 16% VAT added, because that is what you hand over. There is one thing we could not find out and the page says so: whether a prepaid meter counts those steps across the whole calendar month. Nobody publishes it. If you buy twice in a month and notice the second token gives fewer units, we would like to know. **Has the Water Come?** LWSC has rationed supply since May 2024 and nothing published says whether today's turn actually happened in your area. This is a board of what neighbours say: pick your area, say when the water last ran there, and see what other people nearby have said. Reading it needs no account; posting needs you to be signed in, so one person is one voice. It reaches your neighbours, not LWSC — the utility's own numbers are at the foot of the page, and a failed supply is worth reporting to both. **A correction.** Our rainy-season and cholera page said an outbreak was still running, with a case figure we can no longer trace to any source. The Ministry of Health declared that outbreak over on 16 July 2026. The page now carries the Ministry's own figures, says where the outbreak actually started and where most of it happened, and has been rewritten to be useful before the rains rather than alarming about something that has ended. We are sorry it stood as long as it did.
Fifteen tool pages showed a date the way a computer stores it — "checked 2026-06-19" — instead of the way it is read out loud. On pages written in French, Spanish or Korean, that date was the one thing left in no language at all. Every date on the site is now spelled out the way the town writes it: "19 June 2026", "19 juin 2026", "19 de junio de 2026". Belleville's flood notices also stopped printing the same day twice, once in each form.
Countries publish their own air quality indexes, and they do not convert into one another. Norway's has four bands where the European one has six, and it comes with a two-day hourly forecast and the emission source behind the level — neither of which the existing air-quality tool can hold. The new kind shows the number people there already recognise, alongside the published health advice, and honours the service's own flag for when its figures are not current.
