The drawing shows rows of pickling cucumbers on their netting frames outside the village in picking season, with a rutted farm track at the field edge and poplars on the flat horizon. It sits at the top of Ura's page.
Nepal's national disaster register (BIPAD, NDRRMA) holds 509 verified incidents for Tanahun district going back to 2011. This reads it and shows what has actually been recorded and in which months. The landslides are where you would expect — 56 of 85 fall in July. The part that surprised us is that fire is more than twice as common as landslide here, and it peaks in March and April. It is a record of what was reported and confirmed, not a complete record and not a warning: NEOC 1149 and the municipality line are on the page above every number.
The walk kind lets a reader pick where they set off from and how fast they walk, and works out the departure time, the points they pass and the way home; it computes the next occurrence from a fixed feast date, so it re-arms itself each year and labels last year's arrangements as history. The rain-gauges tool now reads a second network, Costa Rica's Instituto Meteorológico Nacional, one station page at a time.
The existing neighbour boards all answer what conditions are like right now — a road, a beach, an outage — over a window of hours. Waste collection asks a different question: how long has it been. The new collection-reports kind stores the date a resident says collection last happened rather than a level, so a report stays true as it ages and an area that has genuinely been missed for three weeks says so. Reusable by any town whose council has stopped keeping a schedule it can publish. First use is Bulawayo.
The Ward 25 address on Find Your Councillor was missing part of the council's domain, so anything sent to it would have bounced. Corrected.
Dam Levels and Is the Water On? were carrying storage figures from the end of March. Council's 23 July report has combined storage at 65 to 66 percent, Insiza at 85 and Mtshabezi at 99. The 72-hour shedding programme stays, and the reason is now on the page: only one of the two raw-water pumping lines was running, moving 51 megalitres a day where the pair can move 105. The water lost to leaks before billing is 42 percent, not the 45 we had.
Both Dam Levels and Where Things Stand described the pipeline project as 72 to 75 percent complete. That number is the dam wall, now about 80 percent. The 252 km pipeline that would actually bring the water to Bulawayo is about 16 percent built and has been stalled since 2022 — outstanding contracts of roughly US$554 million against a 2026 budget line near US$11 million. Both pages now separate the two.
Council runs 10 to 12 refuse compactors on a good day for the whole city, 14 of its 20 are past their service life, and wards 6 to 29 are collected by the truckers' association rather than council trucks — so there is no schedule anyone can look up. Was the Bin Lorry Here? asks the answerable question instead: how long has it been since collection, area by area, according to the people who live there. Seventeen areas, one tap to report, and the middle date of what neighbours say rather than the newest voice.
Spanish-language pages were grouping digits the Dominican way, so a Costa Rican or Spanish reader saw ₡13,180.77 where they write ₡13.180,77 — a different number, not just an unfamiliar one. Number formatting now follows the town's country. This also corrects Tarifa's holiday-let count, which had been rendering 2.992 as 2992.
Where a tariff reprices the whole month at fixed steps, our calculator already showed what crossing each step costs. In Costa Rica a second line sits between them: lose the VAT exemption at 280 kWh a month and 13% lands on the entire bill. That step can be the bigger of the two, so it now appears alongside the tariff's own — a reader shouldn't have to know which authority drew which line.
Some countries publish the maximum fare every bus route may charge. Costa Rica does, route by route and leg by leg, and almost nobody reads it. The new kind reads that register live, so a fare rise reaches the page without anyone editing anything, and it shows the fare for over-65s — which on most routes is free by law, and is not written on any bus stop.

Beach-by-wind reads the live wind against each beach's own facing for kitesurfing and windsurfing, where an offshore wind is the dangerous state rather than the good one — so it is classified before wind strength and can never be shown as a good window. The hazard record reads a country's official incident register and shows what has actually been reported and verified in a place, and in which months, without treating it as a warning or a forecast. The tourist-let count sets a town's licensed holiday lets against its own population, using only totals — no individual property, address or owner is ever shown. All three are reusable by other towns.
Siddha Gufa, Thani Mai, Tundikhel, the silk farm and Ramkot, with the heights measured rather than repeated. The main correction: the cave sits about 400 m below the bazaar, so the walk down is the easy half and the climb home is the hard one — carrying on down to Bimalnagar and riding back avoids it. Where sources disagreed on a fee or a season we give the range; where they disagreed completely, as on the cave's opening hours, we leave the number out.
Bandipur has no river or spring at ridge level, so every litre is lifted from below. This works out what a roof here could catch in a typical year, which months would fill a tank, and how many days of household water that is — plus how much rain has actually fallen in the last 30 days. It uses the lower of the two published rainfall climatologies for the area on purpose: over-estimating the catch is the mistake that leaves a tank empty.
Three pages, and one of them is a board rather than a read. "Tides at Reine" brings Kartverket's official Norwegian tide predictions to the village — today's highs and lows and the week ahead, in metres above the chart datum, with the permanent station Kartverket derived them from named on the page along with the adjustment it applied. Three things it says plainly: a tide height is not the Moskstraumen, wind and pressure push the real water above the prediction, and the passenger boat to Vindstad and Kjerkfjord sails to its timetable — the tide only decides what you meet at the landing. "Is the E10 Clear?" is a neighbour board, and it exists because nothing better is available to us. Statens vegvesen decides whether the road is open and publishes that on its own map, which we link on every render; what it does not publish is a feed we are allowed to read, and we checked again this week. So: tap a stretch — Å to Reine, Reine to Hamnøy, Hamnøy to Ramberg, Ramberg to Leknes — and say whether it was clear, slow or blocked. Reading needs nothing. Posting needs a free account, which is what keeps the board honest. And the page says the thing a sparse board has to say: a stretch with no reports is not a clear stretch, it is a stretch nobody has spoken about. "Wind & Gusts" is the next week of wind on the Beaufort scale for Reine and the E10 through Moskenes — the thing that shuts the bridges, the ferry and the fjord crossing. It also carries a correction to how this kind of page talks. The warning built into it was written for a town where damaging wind arrives as a thunderstorm, which is not what happens at 68° north. Reine's page now says what a ten-kilometre weather model actually misses here: terrain. Wind funnelled between peaks or falling off a ridge can be far stronger in one place than the average, and one bridge can be impassable while the village is merely blowy.
Downtown DocFest ended permanently in May 2026 after 14 seasons, and the research still listed it as a March fixture. Corrected, with the Porchfest date for 26 September confirmed.
The page said roughly 15,000 people here are without a family doctor; the estimate published locally is 12,000 to 14,000, so it now says that. The pharmacist-prescribing section names all nine conditions added on 1 July, and the three walk-in clinics now carry their phone numbers and hours.
The bag-tag price was showing as ".50" instead of $3.50, and the holiday-schedule answer pointed at a city news page that no longer exists. Both fixed, along with the yard-waste depot's Wednesday evening hours and the Christmas-tree rules.
The next departures from the downtown terminal, Loyalist College and Quinte Mall, read from Belleville Transit's own real-time feed. Each time says whether it is the bus reporting itself or the printed timetable, and cancelled runs are shown as cancelled instead of quietly disappearing.
Two new kinds of tool, both built for Genoa first and both meant to travel. Vertical transit is for towns where a lift or a funicular is not a curiosity but the way home. It lists each plant, what it connects, its hours and its fare — and it is built so that it cannot claim a lift is running. There is no such state in it. A plant can be in service, suspended with a dated note, or reported out by someone other than the operator, in which case the page has to show both what was reported and what the operator says. Genoa has fourteen lifts, two funiculars and a rack railway; Valparaíso, Lisbon and Zagreb are the obvious next. Rain gauges is for a town whose own authority publishes measured rainfall at named places. Every rain tool we had until now reads a weather model. This one reads instruments, and keeps the difference visible: a gauge reporting nothing is shown as not reporting, never as no rain. It leads with the official alert channel and never predicts a flood. Alongside them, two existing kinds learned a new source: the roadworks board can now read Geneva's cantonal worksite register, and the bathing-water tool can read a published grade live from an authority's own feed instead of one typed in by hand. Three kinds also gained proper French. They had been falling back to English labels on French pages — a warnings page would have read "Aucun warnings météo". If you see a page mixing languages like that, the correction form at the foot of every tool is the fastest way to tell us.
Ura's pages are live. Two tools. The waste calendar carries ÉAK's 2026 dates in full: the Monday kommunális round, the szelektív Fridays, the zöldhulladék Tuesdays, the two January pine-only dates, and both lomtalanítás days, which need booking in advance. Easter Monday is the one round that moves — it goes to Saturday 4 April. The part most easily got wrong: zöldhulladék is not collected from the gate. It goes to the designated collection point in the village. The calendar does not print an address for that point, so the page says so and gives two numbers to ask rather than guessing. Glass, electronics, hazardous waste, batteries and paint have no kerbside round here at all — the nearest hulladékudvar is at Mátészalka, about 35 km away. Who to Call has the village office, the mayor, the waste service and the out-of-hours doctor. The office publishes hours for Monday and Thursday afternoons; it does not say anything about the other days, so neither do we — ring first. For a doctor outside surgery hours the number is 1830, and that is the answer rather than an address: the county publishes fourteen duty points but no list of which village belongs to which, so we name Csenger as the nearest published one without claiming Ura is assigned to it. 1830 sends a car to the address, including out on the tanyák. The page also names what nobody publishes — the surgery's hours, the notary, the pharmacy, the post office, the vet — rather than leaving you to search for something that is not there.
Le pagine di Genova sono online. Tre strumenti.
The city files its permit zones as one row per piece of a zone, not one row per zone, and the pieces do not all carry the zone's own numbers. That put Limbeek-Noord at the top of the table as the most oversubscribed zone in the city, on figures belonging to a small fragment of it. The table now reads one row per zone: Limbeek-Noord has 711 spaces and issues up to 889 permits. Of 160 zones, 24 issue permits right up to 1.25 per space and the rest are below it.
Live-fire notices read the Swiss federal firing-notice file, which covers all 108 army ranges — any town beside one can now have the tool with a few lines of configuration. Parking-zone lookup reads the Dutch national parking register, which covers around 400 municipalities. Both compute their answers from the source rather than from figures typed in by hand, so a decision by an authority reaches the page without anyone re-keying it.
Type a street and house number and see which zone it is in, whether you have to pay right now, and what a stay of your length actually costs — including whether the day ticket beats the hourly rate. The zones, hours and tariffs are read live from the national parking register the city files into, so nothing here is copied by hand. Permit zones also show how many spaces they have against how many permits the city will issue.
Akureyri's weather-warnings page said we could not reach the Icelandic Met Office whenever there was no warning in force — which is to say, on most days. The Met Office answers an empty response to mean 'nothing to report', and we were reading that as a failure. It now says plainly that there are no warnings, which is what it meant all along. Also fixed: roadworks boards that showed only part of a long list now say how many entries are not on the page.
