Ura's pages are live. Two tools. The waste calendar carries ÉAK's 2026 dates in full: the Monday kommunális round, the szelektív Fridays, the zöldhulladék Tuesdays, the two January pine-only dates, and both lomtalanítás days, which need booking in advance. Easter Monday is the one round that moves — it goes to Saturday 4 April. The part most easily got wrong: zöldhulladék is not collected from the gate. It goes to the designated collection point in the village. The calendar does not print an address for that point, so the page says so and gives two numbers to ask rather than guessing. Glass, electronics, hazardous waste, batteries and paint have no kerbside round here at all — the nearest hulladékudvar is at Mátészalka, about 35 km away. Who to Call has the village office, the mayor, the waste service and the out-of-hours doctor. The office publishes hours for Monday and Thursday afternoons; it does not say anything about the other days, so neither do we — ring first. For a doctor outside surgery hours the number is 1830, and that is the answer rather than an address: the county publishes fourteen duty points but no list of which village belongs to which, so we name Csenger as the nearest published one without claiming Ura is assigned to it. 1830 sends a car to the address, including out on the tanyák. The page also names what nobody publishes — the surgery's hours, the notary, the pharmacy, the post office, the vet — rather than leaving you to search for something that is not there.

Quest'ultima, di proposito, non dice se un impianto sta funzionando adesso, e vale la pena spiegare perché. Nessuno lo pubblica in una forma che si possa leggere in modo affidabile. Il notiziario di AMT si perde i guasti lunghi — l'ascensore di via Dino Col risulta fuori servizio da maggio mentre la pagina degli orari continua a mostrare l'orario normale — e preferiamo stampare le due cose una accanto all'altra e dire che oggi non sappiamo quale sia vera, piuttosto che indovinare. Indovinare male manda qualcuno su per una salita a piedi. Le notifiche dell'App AMT sono l'unico canale in tempo reale, e la pagina rimanda a quelle. Due tariffe vanno controllate prima di partire. La gratuità per i residenti della Città metropolitana è finita il 31 ottobre 2025. E l'abbonamento agli ascensori non vale su Zecca–Righi né sulla cremagliera, che richiedono un biglietto ordinario.
Les pages de Genève sont en ligne. Quatre outils, en français. Chantiers et travaux lit le registre cantonal des chantiers, mis à jour chaque jour — ce qui est creusé, où, par qui, et jusqu'à quand. Il couvre les travaux qui empiètent sur la voie publique, et dit clairement ce qu'il ne couvre pas : rien sur les horaires de travail autorisés ni sur le bruit, qui est pourtant l'objet de la plupart des plaintes — la directive cantonale sur le bruit est donc mise en lien à la place. Collecte des déchets porte la règle que les gens confondent le plus souvent. Un jour férié, les ordures ménagères sont décalées — mais le papier-carton et les déchets organiques ne sont tout simplement pas collectés, et ce passage n'est jamais rattrapé. Les deux filières tournent aussi sur des jours opposés, donc chaque ligne indique quels jours l'autre filière passe. Qualité de l'eau de baignade affiche la dernière note publiée par le canton pour chacun des neuf lieux de baignade de la commune, avec sa propre date de prélèvement. Les prélèvements ont lieu toutes les trois à quatre semaines, donc une note a généralement une quinzaine de jours, et la page le précise à chaque ligne. Elle ne dit pas si l'eau est bonne aujourd'hui même — c'est le panneau au bord de l'eau qui en décide. Avertissements météo reprend les alertes de MétéoSuisse pour Genève, lues en français. Trois de ces outils ont nécessité d'ajouter le français directement dans le code du site — sans quoi les pages auraient affiché des libellés en anglais autour d'un contenu en français.
The city files its permit zones as one row per piece of a zone, not one row per zone, and the pieces do not all carry the zone's own numbers. That put Limbeek-Noord at the top of the table as the most oversubscribed zone in the city, on figures belonging to a small fragment of it. The table now reads one row per zone: Limbeek-Noord has 711 spaces and issues up to 889 permits. Of 160 zones, 24 issue permits right up to 1.25 per space and the rest are below it.
Live-fire notices read the Swiss federal firing-notice file, which covers all 108 army ranges — any town beside one can now have the tool with a few lines of configuration. Parking-zone lookup reads the Dutch national parking register, which covers around 400 municipalities. Both compute their answers from the source rather than from figures typed in by hand, so a decision by an authority reaches the page without anyone re-keying it.
Type a street and house number and see which zone it is in, whether you have to pay right now, and what a stay of your length actually costs — including whether the day ticket beats the hourly rate. The zones, hours and tariffs are read live from the national parking register the city files into, so nothing here is copied by hand. Permit zones also show how many spaces they have against how many permits the city will issue.

Akureyri's weather-warnings page said we could not reach the Icelandic Met Office whenever there was no warning in force — which is to say, on most days. The Met Office answers an empty response to mean 'nothing to report', and we were reading that as a failure. It now says plainly that there are no warnings, which is what it meant all along. Also fixed: roadworks boards that showed only part of a long list now say how many entries are not on the page.
Pick how long you are staying and the options rank cheapest first, using the city's own published tariffs. The gap is bigger than most people expect: a six-hour day in town is 2 lei at the airport Park & Ride — where the parking ticket is also your bus ticket into the city — against 48 lei at Moților on a weekday and 80 lei at Piața Unirii. Weekend rates at Moților are about a third of the weekday ones, and the page shows both.

The ferry page listed seven sailings each way at roughly two-and-a-half-hour intervals. The published summer timetable is eight each way on the even hours — from Heimaey at 07:00, 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 16:00, 18:00, 20:00 and 22:00, and from Landeyjahöfn an hour later each time. None of the mainland times we had were right, so anyone using that page to catch the last boat could have missed it. The summer times now carry the dates they are valid for, 20 July to 23 August, and outside that window the page sends you to herjolfur.is rather than showing times we have not checked.
What Veðurstofa Íslands has in force for Suðurland right now, in its own words, with the wind over Heimaey. A warning is usually why a sailing is dropped, and it normally comes before the ferry company says anything.
Harbour Watch shows the wave height at the buoy off Landeyjahöfn, how high the water is standing at the quay, and the wind at Stórhöfði and Þorlákshöfn — read from Vegagerðin's own instruments, not forecast. It does not tell you whether the ferry can get in: the sea level at a gauge is not the depth of the channel, and that depth is not published anywhere live. The page says so, and points at the people who do know.
The Royal Parks closed the Serpentine Lido at the end of July after finding signs of blue-green algae, and the swim guide now says so, alongside a standing note on blooms in London's lakes. Brockwell's handover to Active Lambeth has happened, so its details point there now. London Fields was carrying a 2025 price that was wrong — it is £6.40, or £4.55 on Better's free pay-as-you-go membership — and Charlton had no price at all: £11.50, or £9.50 with a Greenwich One Card. The Hampstead prices now come from the City of London's own tickets page, which is where the useful discovery is: the Lido's breakfast and evening swims are £5, against £8.80 in the middle of the day.
The comparison had been serving 2025/26 figures four months into the new tax year. All 33 councils are updated from the GLA's published table, and the Mayor's precept with them — £510.51 at Band D, up £20.13, or £176.38 in the City of London. The gap between the cheapest and dearest council is now £1,589: Wandsworth £1,020.35, Kingston £2,609.20. Wandsworth and Merton use their own published charges rather than the national average, which folds in the Wimbledon and Putney Commons levy that only nearby streets pay — there is a note about it on the page.
Phone snatching is the crime Londoners raise most, and it is not spread evenly: within a mile of Oxford Circus there were 3,164 street thefts reported in April to June 2026 — 22% of everything recorded there — against 79 around Croydon over the same months. The page counts and maps what has actually been reported to the Metropolitan Police, with what helps and what to do if it happens to you. It covers the West End only, and says so: the police data is published near a point, so this is a neighbourhood board rather than a map of the city.
The parking-spaces tool learned a second data source, MobiData BW's open ParkAPI, alongside Heidelberg's. Towns name their own car parks, and the credit line follows the source rather than being fixed to one city.

Our research said 2.5 miles around 263 acres. Friends of York Walls and Visit York both publish 3.4 km, about 2 miles, and the 263-acre figure could not be confirmed anywhere. First York's city and Park & Ride routes and East Yorkshire's Y12 and Y14, read from the operators' own tracking feed. It cannot tell you a bus has been cancelled: York's cancellation data goes to a system that publishes nothing publicly, so an empty card means no bus is reporting, not that yours is gone.

A curated kind for hot-climate towns, first used in St. George. It sorts public places by how they actually beat the heat — air conditioning, water or shade — and puts the one that works at the current hour first, because at the peak of a desert afternoon shade is not enough and a splash pad still bakes you. Open and closed are computed against the real clock off the same tested engine the opening-hours kind uses; seasonal water features carry their own date ranges, and a shoulder-season timetable can replace the summer one so a pool never advertises hours it has stopped keeping.
The board had nothing between late June and the September rodeo. Added the city's two free summer series — Concerts in the Park on the second Monday of the month and Movies in the Park on the second and fourth Fridays, with the four films left this year — and the Saturday farmers market at Vernon Worthen Park, each linked to the page it was checked on.

Most tool pages opened with two paragraphs that overlapped — the short summary under the title, then a longer note that often repeated it before getting to anything new. On a phone that pushed the first button or number down the page. The repeated sentences are now removed automatically, so 370 tools open with the summary, then only what it doesn't already say. Nothing was lost: where the longer note held the only copy of a fact, the summary was rewritten to keep it.
Two changes to the shared machinery behind the tools, both from towns whose rules did not fit what we had. **A second shape of German rent index.** German cities publish their Mietspiegel in two structurally different ways, and until now we could only read one of them. Erlangen's is a worksheet of named tables, each with its own rule. Tübingen's is a points score: every feature is worth whole points, the points add up, and the total is the percentage applied to a base rent read off a floor-area and building-year grid. Neither can be expressed honestly as the other, so there are now two kinds and a note in the code saying to pick by the shape of the city's own document rather than by the city. The new one also carries three things the first never needed: a zone you find by typing your street, features that stop being claimable once they became standard, and a zone value that is not a number at all — Tübingen's Zone X means the Mietspiegel does not apply to that address, and the page says so instead of computing something. **Winters that are banned outright, not forecast.** Our winter parking tool was built for a city that declares a ban when enough snow is forecast. Kingston's January and February are banned every night regardless of weather, with only December and March decided by the forecast. Asking "could a ban be declared tonight?" in January is the wrong question, and the honest failure was quiet: on a clear January night the town page would have shown a green "no ban-level snow forecast" over a rule that ends in a tow. Winter parking tools can now carry periods that are banned outright. Those nights outrank any forecast, still answer when the weather service is unreachable, and are shown on the page all year, because that is a rule worth knowing in advance rather than on the night. Ottawa's page is unchanged.

Das Ergebnis ist die ortsübliche Vergleichsmiete: der Maßstab für eine Mieterhöhung in einem laufenden Mietverhältnis, nicht der Preis, den eine frei angebotene Wohnung im Inserat hat — der liegt hier oft darüber. Und für alles, was zählt, gilt der amtliche Rechner der Stadt; auf ihn und auf Mieterbund, Haus & Grund und die Fachabteilung Wertermittlung wird auf der Seite verwiesen. Wo der Mietspiegel nichts aussagt — Zone X, unter 25 m², ab 160 m² —, nennt die Seite keine Zahl, statt eine zu erfinden. **Die Empfehlungsseite** sammelt die neun Fragen, die hier jedes Semester neu gestellt werden: Hausarztpraxis mit freien Plätzen, Zahnarzt mit tragbaren Kassenpreisen, warmes Mittagessen für ältere Angehörige, Fahrradladen, Friseur, Handwerk, Sport, Ankommen als Neue oder Neuer, günstig einkaufen. Kingston is live with two tools, both reading the City's own data rather than a page someone has to keep retyping. **Next Buses** shows the next departures from the four busiest stops — Downtown, Queen's/Kingston General Hospital, Cataraqui Centre and St. Lawrence College — reading Kingston Transit's published timetable and its live vehicle feed together. Times marked live come from the bus itself; the rest are the timetable, and the page says which is which. Route changes and holiday schedules follow automatically, because it reads the same file the agency publishes. It is not the agency: for a cancellation or a detour, Kingston Transit's service alerts are still the word that counts. **Winter Parking Ban** answers the question the rules make genuinely confusing. In January and February there is no overnight on-street parking at all — every night, snow or no snow, 1 a.m. to 7 a.m., and from midnight around Kingston General Hospital. In December and March the City only bans it when the weather calls for it, and announces that by about 4 p.m. The page tells you which rule tonight falls under, and in the weather-based months whether the forecast snow is anywhere near the 5 cm the City acts on. It never says a ban is on — only the City declares one — and it links straight to the City's page and its email notices. Both tools carry the City of Kingston's open data licence. If something here is wrong, the correction link at the foot of each page comes to us.
banded-bill handles utilities where crossing a threshold reprices the whole month rather than just the next unit. water-tariff handles unmetered towns billed on a fee schedule pinned to an index unit. planning-constraints looks up what is designated over a point from an open national planning register. Each is reusable by any town on the same footing.
The borough does not publish collection days in a form we can reproduce, so this page does not guess yours — it explains the fortnightly cycle, what belongs in each bin, and links straight to the council's address checker. Batteries go in a small clear bag on top of the bin, never inside it.

Your postcode is not stored or logged. It is a record, not a planning decision, and the council remains the only authority on whether you need permission.
