Both are now current, and record where wildfire smoke has started to interrupt the outdoor season.

Some towns draw their collection areas as polygons; Starkville draws its as 1,807 street centrelines, which no amount of point-in-polygon will answer. The kind now measures the true distance from an address to each nearby centreline and picks the nearest, preferring a street whose name matches the address — and where it can't tell reliably it declines to answer rather than guess a day. Also: the transfer-station kind now has a French page instead of falling back to English, and the deadline calculator kind can put one important fact above the calculator.
Two-thirds of homes here are rented and most tenants are on a first lease. Mississippi gives renters little, and nearly all of it is a deadline — so enter one date and get the date the clock runs out: the 45 days for your deposit, 30 days to end a month-to-month tenancy, 14 days to cure a breach, 30 days for a landlord to fix a defect you reported in writing. The thing worth knowing before anything else: those 45 days only start once you have asked for the deposit back, so put the demand in writing and keep a copy. The page also carries Starkville's own rules, including that your landlord must keep the place below 80°F from April to October and replace broken cooling within 24 hours. It states the law and does the arithmetic; it is not legal advice.
The family-doctor page and the contacts page both sent people to 170 East Street. The clinic moved to Cambrian Mall, 44 Great Northern Road, in mid-July, and it takes appointments by phone from 8 a.m. rather than walk-ins. Both pages now say so, and both carry where the Group Health Centre's rebuild has got to: it expects 14,000 people attached to a provider by early 2027.
The events page had the Tour Train boarding at 429 Carmen's Way. That move was called off in the spring after a lease deal, and the train leaves from the Canal District station at 87 Huron Street as usual — 8 a.m. daily, August 1 to October 18. Bon Soo, Rotaryfest, the Queen Street Cruise and the Greyhounds had all quietly dropped off the board once their 2026 dates passed; each now carries its next date, and says plainly where next year's dates have not been announced yet.
When wildfire smoke drifts in, the number everyone quotes is the Air Quality Health Index. The new page reads it hourly from Environment Canada's Sault Ste. Marie station, with the hours ahead and the official advice split two ways: one answer for children, over-65s and anyone with a heart or lung condition, one for everyone else. It is pinned to the top of the town page for the rest of the smoke season, in place of the Highway 17 page, which comes back when the snow does.
Twenty-three pages — including the home page and several tool pages — were wider than a phone screen, so the whole layout slid sideways under your thumb and headings sat off-view. Long web addresses now wrap instead of pushing the page out, and the bar at the top of a tool page fits properly. A check now runs against every page so it does not come back.
Two shared Spanish text tables were written while building their first town and quietly carried that town's assumptions everywhere else. The cash-machine board's Spanish said, when every machine in a town is reported empty, "bring cash from Pochutla" — Pochutla being the bigger town next to Mazunte, in Oaxaca. The same tool now runs in Sayulita, El Chaltén and Punta del Diablo, so three towns, one of them 6,000 km away in Uruguay, were sending people to a town in Mexico. It now points at the town's own nearest cash, which was already on the page just below. The travel tool's Spanish was written for Barichara, in Colombia, and used words that read as foreign further south: busetas, carro, parqueo, tiquetes, taquilla. It now uses words a reader in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina or Uruguay will all recognise. A test was added so a place name cannot quietly reappear in shared text again.

Lo comprobamos en los listados de datos abiertos que publican las dos redes. Los más cercanos están en Castillos, a unos 40 km, y en Chuy, a unos 45.
Al pueblo se llega y se sale en ómnibus, y las tres empresas que paran en la terminal —Rutas del Sol, COT y Núñez y Viajes Cynsa— cambian los horarios con la temporada. Por eso la herramienta no copia horarios que se van a desactualizar. All five Park & Ride lines — PR1 Madingley Road, PR2 Newmarket Road, PR3 Trumpington, PR4 Babraham Road, PR5 Milton — now show their live bus positions, read from the Department for Transport's open bus data feed and refreshed about once a minute. Each line also carries how often it runs and a link to its timetable. The page says plainly when a line has no bus reporting, which is normal between journeys and overnight. It does not guess: a position older than ten minutes is dropped rather than shown, because a bus that stopped reporting eight hours ago is worse than no bus at all. Fares and parking are on the page too: since 22 February 2026 an adult return is £4.50 and a short hop return £3.80, up to four children aged 5 to 15 travel for £1 each with a paying adult, and parking is free for up to 18 hours. A ticket only works at the site you bought it at.
Collections in Cambridge are set per address, not per street, so a town-wide calendar was never going to be right. The new tool asks for a postcode, lists the addresses on it, and reads that address's real dates from Greater Cambridge Shared Waste's own service — blue, black and green, with the council's own words for what goes in each. You can also ask for an email the evening before. This one had been on the list since Cambridge went live in July and was marked blocked: we could not find a bin-day-by-postcode source we were allowed to read. It turns out Cambridge city addresses are answered by the South Cambridgeshire service, because Greater Cambridge Shared Waste is one shared service across both councils. Checked across CB1 to CB5 before shipping. Weekly food waste caddies are being rolled out across the city in phases through 2026. No caddy shows up in the dates yet; when your round starts, the council writes to you, and it will appear here.

Type your address and the tool tells you whether you're on the GREEN Monday/Thursday collection or the RED Tuesday/Friday one, reading the city's own map. It also carries the set-out window the tickets are written against, which is narrower than most people think: bagged garbage at the kerb no earlier than 5 a.m. on collection day, there by 7 a.m., and taken back in before sunset the same day. Crates and corrals are not allowed. Where the map can't place an address reliably, the tool says so instead of guessing — that's usually a private drive with no city kerbside service at all. Holidays are the one thing it won't compute: the city skips collections rather than shifting them, and announces each closure on its own, so call 662-323-2652.

The new utility-rate-change kind does that conversion — a table across a range of usage that needs no JavaScript, plus a calculator for people with their own bill to hand. It counts down to the effective date and flips to 'in effect' on its own. First use is Inuvik's September gas rise.
The page was missing the fire department, the ambulance service, the hospital's number, and the gas, power and utilidor lines — they are all there now, taken from the town's own emergency services page. We also had it wrong that 911 does not work from a cell phone here. It does, and has since 2019; what happened was a Northwestel outage in May 2025 that took cell calling down for a day. The page now says to dial 911 and keeps the direct 24-hour numbers for when the network is the thing that fails.
Inuvik Gas goes from $35.44 to $45.44 a gigajoule on 1 September 2026, its first change since 2013. Enter the GJ figure from your last bill and the page shows what the same usage costs before and after, per month and per year, alongside the utility's stated reasons.
The first compares live measurements from a valley-floor weather station with the mountain stations above it — temperature, the observed lapse rate, and sunshine minutes by altitude — for towns whose weather story is the difference between two heights. The second turns an address into a mapped fire hazard class and pairs it with the local clearing rules, the inspection calendar and the abatement fees. Both are reusable by any town with the same kind of public data.

German transit networks label regional trains and long-distance trains with codes our reader did not recognise, so a main station could show every bus and tram but none of its trains. And service notices — engineering works, moved stops, diversions — arrive wrapped in a way the reader looked straight past, so they were being dropped. Both are fixed, which also restores five notices that had gone missing in Karlsruhe.

The trash answer said a Monday holiday usually pushes collection back a day, which the City does not say — it now gives the real set-out rule and points at the new trash day lookup. The Storrowing answer named two of the three car-only parkways; Soldiers Field Road is back.
The tool listed Veterans Day as a day with no daytime sweeping. It is one of three City holidays — with Evacuation Day and Bunker Hill Day — on which sweeping runs as normal, so anyone who trusted it could have left a car out on 11 November and been towed. Thanksgiving and Christmas were missing, and 4 July was listed where the City observes the holiday on 3 July. The list now matches the City's own. The tow note also gave the general police line; it now gives the number the City publishes for finding your car, 617-343-4629.
Boston sets the collection day address by address — the two ends of one street can differ, and the densest neighbourhoods are collected twice a week. Type your address to see the days the City has on file for it, the next three collections, and the window your barrels may be at the kerb: out no earlier than 5 p.m. the night before, kerbside by 6 a.m. Putting them out early is a $25 ticket, which is the mistake most people make in their first week.
