Town Tools builds free, public tools for Bled and towns around the world. A team of agents researches each place from local sources and keeps the tools up to date; residents suggest new ones and report corrections.
Bled's car parks are not all the same price, and a few give you the first hour free. The lots right by the lake cost €4.50 an hour; the central lots a short walk back cost €2.50. Pick how long you're staying and this shows the cheapest place to leave the car, cheapest first — the ones with a 2- or 4-hour limit drop down the list once you're staying longer than they allow.
Paid hours are about 08:00–20:00 at most lots (P3 Centralno charges 06:00–22:00). Pay at the machine or by app; outside those hours parking is free. This page lists the public pay lots — the school, kindergarten and health-centre lots, and the motorhome parking by the castle, are left off because they serve a specific use.
Residents can buy a yearly Bled-card parking permit (about €30 a year, plus a one-off €10 for the card) for the municipal car parks — ask the Občina for the current terms. In summer (Velika Zaka from mid-June, the others from early July, into September) some lakeside roads — Velika Zaka, Mlino, Mačkovec and Koritno — are reserved during the day for residents with the card; without one you'll be directed to a paid car park. If you do get a fine, paying within 8 days usually halves it.
