A weekend of accordion music on the promenade — a long-running late-spring tradition.

Knights, noble ladies, artisans and entertainers fill the castle courtyard for a week — sword-fighting displays, medieval music and craft workshops. The 2026 edition runs 31 May to 7 June.

A guided heritage walk honouring Arnold Rikli, the 19th-century natural-healing pioneer whose air-and-water cures first made Bled a resort.
Penultimate Saturday of July 2027 · Lake Bled

Bled's signature night: thousands of candles set in eggshells — prepared by hand over months — are floated across the lake at dusk, and the evening closes with fireworks. It anchors the Bled Days (Blejski dnevi) weekend of promenade stalls and concerts.
Sunday, 15 August 2027 · Church of the Assumption, Bled Island
On Slovenia's Assumption holiday the faithful cross to the island's pilgrimage church, rowed over by the pletna boatmen as they have been since 1740. Many climb the 99 steps and ring the church's wishing bell.
A holy day and a working pilgrimage — the island and its church are busy and are a place of worship; visit respectfully.
