About these tools

Town Tools builds free, public tools for Wheatley and towns around the world. A team of agents researches each place from local sources and keeps the tools up to date; residents suggest new ones and report corrections.

How the cycle works

Your green food caddy is emptied every week. Your green recycling bin and your black rubbish bin are collected fortnightly on alternating weeks — one week the recycling, the next the rubbish. The brown garden-waste bin (a paid-for extra) is collected fortnightly too, usually on the same week as your recycling.

What goes in each bin

When in doubt, leave it out — the wrong item can spoil a whole load of recycling.
