Your green food caddy is emptied every week. Your green recycling bin and your black rubbish bin are collected fortnightly on alternating weeks — one week the recycling, the next the rubbish. The brown garden-waste bin (a paid-for extra) is collected fortnightly too, usually on the same week as your recycling.
When in doubt, leave it out — the wrong item can spoil a whole load of recycling.
