Agawa Canyon Tour TrainAlgoma region

Daily excursions, August 1 – October 18, 2026. The train leaves at 8 a.m. and doors open an hour before; book ahead, especially in the fall-colour weeks.

Canal District station, 87 Huron Street

A day-long rail excursion north into the Algoma wilderness, with a stop of about 90 minutes in the canyon, at its best for fall colours. The 2026 season departs from the Canal District station on Huron Street as usual: the announced move to the Carmen's Way rail yard was called off in the spring after the operator extended its lease downtown.

Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds home games (OHL)Downtown / Queen Street

Home games through the OHL regular season, September 18, 2026 to March 21, 2027 — full fixture list and tickets on the team site.

GFL Memorial Gardens, downtown

The Hounds open at home on Friday, September 18 against the Saginaw Spirit, and host the Sarnia Sting the next night. Playoff dates follow the regular season.

Algoma Fall FestivalCity-wide

Through October — the 2026 programme and dates are announced by the festival each autumn.
