Most households in Narva buy electricity at the market price, which changes every 15 minutes.
The market price is the small part. On an ordinary summer day the fixed charges are several times larger than it.

Even if the market price fell to zero — which happens — a kilowatt-hour on this connection would still cost 11.8 senti, plus the standing monthly charge. The market price is the part that moves; the rest is there whatever the hour.

Tomorrow’s prices are not out yet. They are published from about 13:45 each day, once the day-ahead market has cleared.
Viru Elektrivõrgud sets its day and night windows on winter time (vööndiaeg). In winter the day rate runs Monday to Friday 07:00–23:00. When summer time starts, the same window reads 08:00–24:00 on the clock in your kitchen — an hour later at both ends.
So on a summer weekday, 23:00 is still the day rate here and 07:00 is still the night rate. The prices on this page already account for that. Every clock time shown is Narva local time.
Saturday and Sunday are the night rate around the clock, in both seasons. Viru's standard terms (§2.1.2–2.1.3) name no public holiday, so a national holiday falling on a weekday is charged as an ordinary day.
Four charges ride on top of the network fee. All are flat round the clock, and all are quoted here before VAT: taastuvenergia tasu 0,84 senti/kWh for 2026; varustuskindluse tasu 0,758 senti/kWh, new from 1 January 2026; elektriaktsiis 0,21 senti/kWh, where the rise planned for 1 May 2026 was cancelled by the Riigikogu; and tasakaalustamisvõimsuse kulu 0,373 senti/kWh, which falls to 0,297 from 1 January 2027.
The first three arrive on your network bill (võrguarve). The balancing charge arrives on your electricity seller's bill instead, which is why it can look as though it has gone missing. You pay both, so both are counted here.
VAT on electricity is 24%. Viru's price list is written without VAT and adds it to the invoice total; this page adds it to every line, so the figures you see are the ones you pay.
Viru Elektrivõrgud publishes four network packages for a household connection up to 63 A. This page covers T1 and T2. T3 and T4 are cheaper per kilowatt-hour — T3 is 5,21 senti/kWh, T4 is 6,27 by day and 3,65 at night, before VAT — but they charge for your main fuse instead of a flat monthly fee: 0,60 € per amp per month on a three-phase connection, 0,20 € on single-phase, plus 2,50 € a month. Whether that works out cheaper depends on your fuse size, which this page does not know. Your package name is on your network bill.
Viru also sells a fixed energy price, Viru Kindel: 13,14 senti/kWh on a single rate including VAT, or 14,02 by day and 12,26 at night, plus 1,91 € a month, for eight months. On a fixed price the market half of this page stops mattering — but if you are on T2, the network day-night difference still applies to your bill.
This starts from the margin Viru Elektrivõrgud charges on its own spot package for a flat (Viru Vaba, Korter): 0,56 senti/kWh including VAT, which is about 0,45 without it, plus 1,76 € a month. The house rate is 0,775 senti/kWh including VAT with no monthly fee. If you buy from another seller, your margin is in your contract and on your electricity bill — type it into the box above and the whole page recalculates.
Prices are the Nord Pool day-ahead prices for the Estonian bidding zone, published quarter-hourly by Elering in euros per megawatt-hour without VAT and converted here to senti per kilowatt-hour. They are the same figures your supplier’s spot price is built from, but your supplier adds its own margin, so its number will be higher than this one.
