Marfa keeps famously changeable hours — many places open only Thursday to Sunday, and a few close "on vacation" with little notice. This works out what's open right now, in Marfa time, and lays out the regular weekly hours with the date each was last checked. For a full grocery run or a pharmacy, most people still drive to Alpine, about 26 miles east — Porter's in town has closed.

Opening later today: The Get Go (10 am), US Post Office (8 am), Marfa Public Library (9 am).
Hours here change often, and places do close "on vacation" without much notice. Treat this as a guide and call ahead before you set out — each listing shows the day we last checked it.
Everything closed? The Stripes on US-90 (E San Antonio St) is open 24 hours for fuel, coffee and a snack — the dependable late-night stop in town.
