Normally 06:00–22:00. Hours can extend, including to 24 hours, during festive periods, but that has applied specifically to private travellers on the Zimbabwe side rather than as a year-round rule — check before planning a late crossing outside the holiday season.
No. Neither BURS (Botswana's customs authority) nor its Zimbabwean counterpart publishes live wait-time data for Ramokgwebana. Reporting from the post itself has described conditions as manageable in recent years, but that can change quickly and there is currently no official way to check before you arrive.
Official reporting on Ramokgwebana names the same few document problems repeatedly: travellers without a passport, minors crossing without a birth certificate, and single parents travelling with a child without the required consent affidavit. Having these ready before you reach the booth is the single biggest thing under your control.
Not yet on this page. BURS publishes its duty-rate schedules and vehicle-clearance guidance directly (burs.org.bw), but this platform hasn't yet built a calculator against them carefully enough to trust — a wrong duty estimate is worse than none. Check BURS's own published rates for now.

As recently as August 2026, a Bulawayo city councillor and a Zimbabwe Business Network representative were still publicly calling for "structured" trade, saying small cross-border traders currently have no shared documentation standard or verification system between the two sides.
