Crossing the river: there are gaps with no crossing

West Dawson and Sunnydale reach town by the George Black ferry in summer (about mid-May to mid-October) and the ice bridge in winter. At freeze-up (roughly late October to mid-December) and break-up (roughly mid-April to mid-May), neither runs and the river can't be crossed by vehicle.
