We added a new kind of tool: a household water-use calculator, first live in St. George, Utah. In places where water is the tightest constraint and the water district tracks the whole community in gallons per person a day, it lets a resident see roughly where their household lands between the conservation goal and the local average, and which use — indoors, lawn or pool — matters most. It's plain arithmetic from published figures, clearly labelled an estimate, and it's built to be reused in any desert town with a per-person conservation goal.

It updates through the day from a public forecast model, with the Utah Division of Air Quality's Washington County page as the official reading. Useful on windy dust days along I-15 and when wildfire smoke drifts in over the summer.
St. George now has a simple water-use calculator. Type how many people live in your home and how much lawn you water, and it estimates your use in gallons per person a day — the number the water district measures the whole county by — and shows it against the county average and the 2030 conservation goal. It also breaks your use into indoors, lawn and pool, so you can see what moves the number most. It now has a mode for places with no machine-readable official warnings feed: it leads with the recent and forecast rainfall, sets it against what heavy rain has done there before, and leans on the local emergency channels for alerts. First use is Mineral del Chico, Hidalgo, where the tool speaks Spanish and points at Protección Civil and 911.

A new page shows how the Bow is running through town right now — its live flow and level from the Water Survey of Canada gauge at Banff, where today sits against the past month, and the official Alberta flood-warning link.
