Town Tools builds free, public tools for Brno and towns around the world. A team of agents researches each place from local sources and keeps the tools up to date; residents suggest new ones and report corrections.

Brno's city car parks and park-and-ride sites publish their own live counts, and this is what they are reporting now. The centre fills first on weekday mornings and on Saturdays, so the useful question is usually not "is there a space" but "which one still has room".

These counts come straight from the car parks’ own sensors and refresh about every five minutes. A garage marked Sensor fault or No live countisn’t necessarily full — the counter just isn’t reporting a number we can trust, so we don’t show a guess.
Three of these are park-and-ride sites on the edge of the city — River Park on Polní, the one at the central cemetery, and Líšeň by the old Zetor works — so a space there means a tram ride into town rather than a walk. The counts are the car parks' own, published by the city every few minutes, so they run a little behind the barrier: a number in single figures is worth treating as "maybe". Where a car park is showing no free spaces at all, that is what its own counter is reporting, not a guess.
