Nepal keeps a national register of disaster incidents. Every entry below was reported through the police, the municipality or a district office and then verified by the authorities. This page reads that register for Bandipur and for Tanahun district around it, and shows what has been recorded and in which months of the year.
What this page is, and what it is not
This is a record of what was reported to the national register and officially verified. It is not a complete record of everything that has happened here, and it is not a forecast. An incident nobody filed is an incident the register does not hold, so a quiet month on this page can mean a quiet month or it can mean nobody filed.
This page cannot tell you what is happening today
Everything here has already happened and been verified, which takes weeks. If a slide has come down, the road is blocked, or someone is hurt, call one of these numbers now. They are the authority; this page is not.
The register holds what someone reported and the authorities then confirmed. In a municipality of six wards spread down a ridge, an incident on a farm track above Ramkot or below Dharampani is far less likely to be filed than one on the Prithvi Highway at Dumre, and a year with no entry for a ward is not a year in which nothing happened there. Read the counts as what reached the register.
Only entries the authority has verified and approved are counted here. A report that has not been verified is a different fact, and it is not shown.

What gets recorded in Tanahun District, and in which months
The district Bandipur sits in — the Marsyangdi and Seti valleys, Damauli, Dumre, Bhanu, Vyas, Shuklagandaki and the ridge municipalities.
The months below are counted across Tanahun District. Bandipur Rural Municipality on its own has too few verified entries for a month-by-month pattern to mean much; its own entries are listed further down.

In Bandipur Rural Municipality itself
The six wards of the rural municipality — the bazaar on the ridge and the villages on the slopes below it.
The register holds 26 verified entries for Bandipur Rural Municipality over the whole period. That is a thin sample for a rural municipality of several wards over many years, and it is not a complete record of what has happened here — reports from wards that are hard to reach are the ones least likely to be filed. Read it as what reached the register, and read the Tanahun District pattern above for the shape of the year.
Also on the register: Animal Incidents (9), Landslide (5), Fire (4), Forest Fire (4), Flood (3), Heavy Rainfall (1).

Why the district and not just Bandipur
Twenty-five verified entries over several years is not enough to show a shape to the year. Tanahun district has hundreds, across the same monsoon, the same dry season and the same slopes, so the months below are counted there. What the register holds for Bandipur itself is listed separately, as the thin sample it is.
Alongside this page
This page is the official record of what has already happened and been verified. For what is happening right now, these pages sit next door — and the numbers above them come first.
The Dumre road board — What neighbours are reporting about the road right now — this page is the official record of what has already happened.
The rain outlook — What the forecast says about the rain ahead, set against the normal for the month.
This page cannot tell you about today
Everything here has already happened. It is a count of entries on a national register, not a warning, not a risk score, and not a judgement about any road, slope or house. If you need to know what is happening right now, call the numbers at the top of this page or ask a neighbour who has been down the road today.
