A second phase of public realm work is planned for the High Street. The council's published sequence is Breathing Spaces first, then the Palmerston Road junction, then Buxton Road and Selborne Avenue, delivered in small sections, with access to the market and to local businesses promised throughout. No construction dates have been published and we have found nothing to say the work has started; when dates appear, they will be on the council's own consultation pages.
