What these numbers are
Every figure on this page is a clinic’s own monthly return to NFZ. It is stamped with the month the clinic reported, not with the moment you loaded this page, and NFZ publishes a new set roughly once a month.
An average wait is how long the people already on the list waited. It is not how long you will wait: a queue can be shorter or longer than its average by months, and one clinic’s list can move while another’s does not.
This page cannot book, hold or check anything. It is not connected to any clinic’s diary. To make an appointment, ring the clinic on the number beside it.
Almost every clinic on this page will only see you with a skierowanie — a referral written by another doctor, usually your lekarz rodzinny. It is normally an e-skierowanie now: you are given a four-digit code and the clinic looks the rest up, so there is often no paper to carry. These are appointments under the public NFZ contract only. A clinic may also see patients privately, often sooner and for a fee — private appointments are not in this register and are not on this page.

Nothing on this page says a shorter queue is a better clinic. A queue is short when a clinic has taken on few patients relative to the hours NFZ pays it for, and long when it has taken on many — which is often what a well-regarded clinic looks like. What the difference does tell you is where there is room this month, and that is worth a phone call before you accept the first date you are offered.
Przypadek pilny is decided by the doctor who writes the skierowanie, not by the patient and not by the clinic's receptionist. Its figures are shown here because they are genuinely different — for urology in Toruń the urgent queue runs at roughly half the stable one — but they only apply if your referral is already marked pilny.
A queue on this page is for planned outpatient care. Sudden illness at night, at the weekend or on a holiday is nocna i świąteczna opieka zdrowotna, which needs no referral; anything life-threatening is 112 or the hospital emergency department (SOR).
