When parking is free
Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays, and every day outside 08:00–18:00. The Śródmiejska (ŚSPP) zone is charged Monday to Saturday; Strefa A and Strefa B are charged Monday to Friday only — both are free on Saturdays.
The Toruńska Karta Miejska (city card) with Resident Status (jo-torun.pl) unlocks the cheapest tiers and permits.
Good to know
A resident parking permit (abonament mieszkańca) is 41 zł a month. If you don't pay, the penalty (opłata dodatkowa) is 92 zł, rising to 230 zł if it is still unpaid after 5 days.
