Line 1 Yonge–University

Open. The TTC has been removing slow zones between Sheppard West and St George, and says there are no planned subway or LRT closures until the end of June 2026, deliberately, for the World Cup.
No service: Line 1 Yonge-University: No service between Union and St George stations due to a fire.
Customers can use east and west bus and streetcar routes to travel in the downtown core and connect with subway service on the Yonge side of Line 1.

Line 2 Bloor–Danforth

Open. Its trains turn 30 this year — a $2.3-billion order for 70 new trains was placed in January 2026 (55 of them for Line 2), with deliveries starting around 2030.
Line 3 Scarborough

Closed permanently since July 2023. Replacement buses run along the corridor; a dedicated busway on the old route is scheduled to open by the end of September 2026.
Open since February 8, 2026 — Mount Dennis to Kennedy. Signal priority added since March 2026 has cut afternoon-peak round trips by up to 10 minutes, with more signal work rolling out through 2026.
No service: Line 5 Eglinton: No service between Ionview and Kennedy stations while the maintainer fixes a track problem. Shuttle buses are running between Ionview and Kennedy.
