Worth knowing

Which station is "Tartu"?

The Environment Agency's observing station for the area is at Tõravere, about 20 km from the centre. A warning is for the county, and a reading quoted "for Tartu" is usually Tõravere's, so the city itself can feel a little different, especially by the river.

What the colours mean

Yellow means be aware, orange means be prepared, red means take action. The Environment Agency sets the level and the wording; this page adds nothing to them and does not interpret them.
