The One day ticket is deliberately not in this list: the card charges you that much and then stops, so buying one in advance costs the same and can only go wrong.
The card works out the cheapest price for you
You do not have to decide in advance. Tap your bus card at the start of each journey and the system charges the cheapest price that applies to you — and it stops once the day has reached the price of a full day ticket, however many more times you get on. So an occasional rider can simply tap and travel all day for €2.50, or €3.75 if their residence is not registered here.
This only works with at least €4.50 on the card.

The resident price is for people whose official place of residence is registered in Tartu city, Kambja, Luunja or Tartu municipality. It is not only the city — the three neighbouring municipalities count too. Registered anywhere else, and the non-resident price applies.

“Registered here” means one thing for the fare and another for free travel.

A discount is not automatic. Discounted fares are only charged to a personalised card that already carries your discount group. With an ordinary or unregistered card you pay the full price, whatever you qualify for.
