The ministry updates winter road conditions once a day between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. from 15 October to 15 April, and again whenever conditions change. Outside those dates it sends almost nothing, so the last reading of the spring simply stays on the feed. This page will not show you that reading as if it were today's.
Route 303 north to Ladysmith is not in the winter-conditions network, and neither is any concession road or village street. A bare, dry reading on this page says nothing about the road to your own gate.
Bryson to Pontiac is about thirty kilometres of the valley in one row, and Pontiac to Aylmer is over forty. The ministry reports a single surface for the whole of each, so a slick corner in the hills at Bristol can sit inside a stretch that reads bare and wet.
The dangerous morning is not the one that reads snow-covered — it is the one that reads bare and wet after a thaw, with the temperature dropping through freezing on the run in to Aylmer.
