Is My Address on the CMK Resident Permit List?

Choose your road and type your house or flat number to see whether it is on the council's list for the £25 Central Milton Keynes residents' permit.

Central Milton Keynes has a residents’ parking permit for £25 a year, but only for the properties on the council’s own list.

Check your address

Choose your road, then type your house or flat number.

Pick it as the council prints it. Some are the name of a building, with a number in front.

For example 12, 605A or G07.

How to read this

This is the council’s list typed out, not a decision by the council. If it and the council ever disagree, the council is right.
Being on the list is the first condition, not the only one. The council also asks that you are over 17 and use a vehicle registered to your address. You do not need a permit for a motorcycle, or if your property has a private driveway or off-road parking. A permit lets you park in the resident bays signed R1; it does not promise a space.
If your address is not on the list, the council says it is likely a home built after 2023, when planning policy moved to car-free developments. Residents of those homes are sent to the Central Milton Keynes employee permit instead. That is the council’s rule, not a verdict on your flat. Ring 01908 691691 or email miltonkeynespermits@imperial.co.uk to confirm.

What you type stays in your browser. It is not sent anywhere or saved.

Other conditions

  • You are over 17 and use a vehicle registered to the address.
  • One resident permit and one visitor permit per person, £25 each for 12 months; visitor day vouchers are £1 for 24 hours.
  • You show proof of where you live (a current council tax bill, a signed tenancy agreement, a utility bill under three months old, a driving licence or a recent bank statement) and a V5 log book for the vehicle.

How current this is

This is the “List of Eligible Addresses” at the end of the council’s Central Milton Keynes residents’ parking guidance notes, a Word document dated March 2025 that was still linked from the council’s guidance-notes page on 24 October 2026. It covers properties built before 2023. A road can appear more than once, and some entries are a building name with a number in front.
