A time marked live is the MBTA's own estimate from where the train is; a time marked timetable is only the plan, and a train that is still hours away usually has no estimate yet, which is not the same as being on time. Cancelled trains stay on the board so you can see them. The MBTA also runs text and email alerts for the Haverhill Line.
