Between late October and May the island empties out, and the question stops being what time a place opens and becomes whether it is open at all. Where an operator publishes no winter hours, this page says so rather than guessing.

The bar that stays open — listed as open daily through the winter, with no published hours.
The island's grocery, and the only one open all year — the tourism bureau lists it open daily right through the winter. Doud's publishes one set of hours and no separate winter ones, so from November this page stops quoting the summer times rather than quoting them at you in January. Phone 906.847.3444. Doud's own site lists Monday to Saturday while the bureau says open daily, so Sunday is worth a call either way.

Closed on Wednesdays between November and May, which is the one that catches people. Out of hours, calling 911 is how you reach its emergency room — the health system's own page says 24-hour emergency services are available on that number. The two seasons it publishes overlap between 23 April and 1 May, so that week is worth a phone call: (906) 847-3582.
These are the library's year-round hours, so they are the winter ones too. In summer it also opens on Tuesday and Friday evenings, 6:30pm to 8:30pm; the city publishes no dates for when those evenings start and stop, so this page leaves them out of the week rather than inventing a changeover.
