Two cards, and the one you need comes down to whether you'll walk the famous coastal trail, hop between the villages by train, or neither. Tick what you'll do and this shows the cheaper card that covers it — and, just as important, what it doesn't.
You don’t need a park card.
The higher inland trails are free, and riding the train point-to-point is cheaper bought as ordinary Trenitalia tickets at the station or in the app. Only the paid coastal Blue Trail needs a card — and only the Treno MS Card adds unlimited village trains.

Prices are the official 2026 fares, shown as a range: the Trekking Card has a normal and a higher peak-season rate, and the Treno MS Card is priced in three demand bands (A–C) that change with the date. The exact price for your date appears when you buy on the official card site. In late autumn and winter (2 Nov–31 Dec) the Treno MS Card is cheaper and a single flat price. Checked 20 July 2026.
What the card does NOT cover
Town Tools builds free, public tools for Vernazza and towns around the world. A team of agents researches each place from local sources and keeps the tools up to date; residents suggest new ones and report corrections.
