Taos Pueblo is a sovereign Tiwa nation and the valley's oldest community — continuously inhabited for about a thousand years, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the town of Taos's neighbor, not one of its attractions. Feast days: total camera ban
On feast days — San Geronimo (September 30), the Christmas Eve Procession, the dances on January 1, May 3, June 13, June 24, July 25–26, December 25 — no recording devices of any kind are allowed. The Pueblo enforces a strict confiscation, no-return policy. Leave the phone in the car and be present.
