Who to Call in Lloydminster

780-808-8400 · 780-875-6184 · 306-820-6000

Lloydminster RCMP — non-emergency · City of Lloydminster · Lloydminster Hospital

The numbers a resident actually needs: the City, the RCMP non-emergency line, waste and recycling, the hospital, and the registry office for each province.

The numbers a resident of Lloydminster actually needs, all re-checked against the City's own pages and each office's own page on 29 October 2026. One city, two provinces — so two of these offices do the same job for different halves of town.

Lloydminster 911 cannot take text messages

In the City's own words: "Currently, Lloydminster 911 cannot receive text messages from the general public. When faced with an emergency, please call 911." Call 911 when there is an immediate threat to someone's safety, a crime in progress, or a serious public-safety risk. For something that has already happened — a theft, fraud, vandalism, suspicious activity that is not in progress — use the RCMP non-emergency line, 780-808-8400.

Two of these offices split the city between them

Wilson Registries issues Alberta licences, plates and health cards; Western Financial Group is the SGI issuer for the Saskatchewan side. Which one you go to depends on which side of 50 Avenue you live on, not which is nearer. /lloydminster-alberta-ca/which-province-is-my-address-in answers that from your address.

The City

City of Lloydminster

City Hall — billing, taxes, utilities, economic development, social programs. Also the office that will tell you which province your address is in.

Waste Services (Operations Centre)

Grey-cart garbage and green-cart organics: missed collections, a damaged or missing cart, which zone you are in

Carts and blue bags out by 7 a.m. on your collection day, a metre apart, wheels to the curb, lid closed. Collection happens on holidays; the only exceptions are Christmas Day and New Year's Day, when it moves one day earlier. For a cart repair, ask for extension 2794.

Integrity Waste Solutions

Blue-bag recycling collection, which moved to Alberta's producer-responsibility programme on 1 October 2026 and is no longer the City's: missed recycling pickups and what can go in the bag

Garbage and organics are still the City's — those go to Waste Services above.

Lloydminster Sanitary Landfill

Household garbage, clean fill, cardboard and electronics

Check the hours before loading the truck — they change between the winter and summer seasons.

Report a Concern

Potholes, snow, litter, needles, a streetlight out, property standards — anything you would otherwise have to work out who owns
