The three boards below are Espoo's busiest stations on the rantarata, the coastal line that runs across the north of the city. Both directions are on each board: the To column says whether a train is heading into Helsinki or out west towards Kauklahti, Kirkkonummi and Siuntio.
Kauniainen station, between Kera and Koivuhovi, is in Kauniainen — a separate town the line runs through. Southern Espoo (Tapiola, Matinkylä, Espoonlahti) has the metro rather than the train, which this board cannot read. Mäkkylä, Kilo, Kera, Koivuhovi and Tuomarila are served by the same lettered trains you can see calling at Leppävaara and Espoon keskus.
Leppävaara
Espoo's busiest station, and where line A starts and ends. Every line on the rantarata calls here, including the IC and S trains between Helsinki and Turku — the only Espoo station they stop at.

Fintraffic runs Finland's rail traffic management and publishes this data; VR drives the trains and HSL sells the tickets in the capital region. A time marked live is Fintraffic's own estimate from where the train actually is, and once a train has gone it is the time it really left. A time marked timetable is only the plan — a train well ahead of its departure usually has no estimate yet, which is not the same as being on time. Cancelled trains are left on the board rather than removed, so a train that has disappeared from a platform display is one you can still see here.
