Report the theft to police as soon as you notice it — you'll need your bike's frame number and, if you have one, a photo.
Search the national stolen-goods register in case your bike turns up for resale.
Search Marktplaats and similar sites for your bike's description in the days after — some stolen bikes are resold quickly, locally.
File a report with the police — Search 'fietsdiefstal' (bicycle theft) once there.
Delft has ranked among the highest Dutch cities for bicycle theft per resident for several years running — local reporting explicitly links this to its large student population and high bike ownership.
