Nobody will ask you to pay to unlock a concession
Every concession here is free to apply for. If someone calls asking for payment or your card details to 'activate' a concession, hang up — it's a scam.
The $100 Power Saving Bonus has closed
It stopped taking new applications on 31 March 2026. If something tells you it's still open, that information is out of date.
Half-price public transport runs until 1 January 2027
This one needs no card and no application — it's built into the fare, capped at $2.85 a day on a concession ticket or $5.70 on full fare.
