The published schedule had run out. It's now current from the Cruise Line Agencies of Alaska port calendar — every call from late July to the season's end in early October, with arrival and departure times, the berth (downtown, Ward Cove, or at anchor), and roughly how many passengers come ashore.

A month-by-month guide to the five salmon runs, black bears, humpbacks, eagles, orcas, and deer — when each is around and the free spots to watch from shore, from Creek Street to Herring Cove. It's the usual seasonal pattern, not a forecast, and it leads with keeping a safe distance from bears.

How much rain has fallen so far this year, next to a normal year, from the airport gauge — with a running chart, a month-by-month breakdown, and the almanac context. It reads NOAA's own record and updates on its own.

A new board for the fleet, skiff owners and floatplane crews: the wind right now at the downtown NOAA gauge, whether the tide is flooding, ebbing or slack, and the next slack-water windows to time a crossing or a docking to. The current times are NOAA harmonic predictions — astronomical tide only, so a strong wind or a big freshet can change what the water actually does — and it is never a go/no-go: the skipper decides, and the Coast Guard is on VHF Channel 16. It sits alongside the tide table, which tells you how deep the water is; this one tells you how hard it is running.

How much rain has fallen in the last day and three days, how much more is expected, and any National Weather Service warning in effect — for the town where heavy rain is what starts landslides. It carries the 2024 Third Avenue Bypass slide as context and points to NWS Juneau, Alaska 511, the Borough and 911. It is a heads-up, never a verdict that a slope is safe.
