The Okarina world-music festival no longer appears on Bled's official events programme (its Culture Institute run was 2006–2019), so it has been removed from the roadworks-and-busy-days board. On a calm day the tide alone stops a little short; it's wind, rain and storm surge piling on top that put water on Long Wharf, Morrissey Boulevard, East Boston and the Seaport. These are predictions, not a flood warning: the page points to the National Weather Service and the City for that.

A plain-words guide to Bright's kerbside bins: the lime-green FOGO bin weekly, the red rubbish and yellow recycling bins on alternating fortnights, most of the township collected on Tuesday — with what belongs in each bin, and the council's address lookup for your exact street and week.

The market price boards, livestock boards, and park-fee tools carry a plain note when their figures are getting old — "these are not today's prices," "fee schedule changes soon." That note was being timed against the moment the server last started rather than the actual day you're reading it, so it could appear a little late. A new tool shows where Newquay's main buses are right now — how far each one is from the bus station and which way it is heading, in plain words. It follows the Truro routes (85, 87, 91 and 93), the coast road to Padstow and the airport (56), with the Atlantic Coast Line train to Par alongside. The live positions come from the Bus Open Data Service. The page says plainly that the listed frequencies are the scheduled service, not a countdown, and that Cornwall's bus network is being revised from 26 July 2026.

Tonight's frost risk and today's fog, hour by hour, read from the forecast on the published Met Office scales — for the drive out, the garden and an early start. Yackandandah sits in a frost hollow, so it leads the town page through winter; the fire tools return for the October–April fire season.

A behind-the-scenes safety check: every link and every "Source" on a tool page is now guaranteed to be an ordinary web address (the kind that starts with http:// or https://). Nothing you see has changed — it simply closes the door, for good, on a link ever being able to do anything other than open a page.

Generalised the ferry-schedule tool so it fits ferries between two mainland places, not only island crossings (first use: Colonia–Buenos Aires), keeping existing island ferries unchanged. Tourist tax-refund tools now show a one-line 'how much VAT back today' summary on the town page.

A new tool reads the live Vltava level at the gauges upstream of town — Vyšší Brod (about 43 km up) and Zátoň (about 20 km) — next to the town's own Nové Spolí gauge. Because the upstream gauges rise before the water reaches the centre, a climbing reading there is an early sign of a flood pulse heading down the valley. It stays descriptive: the official flood degree is still set by ČHMÚ and the town flood commission, both linked.

Reine sits almost under the auroral belt, but a clear answer to "should I go out tonight?" means weighing three things at once. The new tool puts them together for the nights ahead: NOAA's space-weather model for how active the lights are, the cloud forecast over the genuinely dark hours, and how much real darkness there is — which this far north swings from no darkness at all under the midnight sun to the deep dark of the polar night. It is honest that a good reading is a chance worth checking, never a promise, and it points to the official NOAA forecast.

The forest loop behind town is Kep's best walk and its cheapest day out. Crab at the market has no fixed price — it is sold by bargaining, and visitors are often charged more than regulars. The new price board is the neighbours' own running figure: anyone who bought at the market can sign in and share what they paid for crab, a cooked plate, squid or prawns, and everyone sees the typical (median) price of recent reports. Reading it needs no account. It starts empty and fills as people report; one or two reports are not a price, so the typical figure only shows once a few have come in. It reports what people paid — not official prices, and not advice on what is fair.

The weather-warnings tool can now read MET Norway's official MetAlerts feed, so Norwegian coastal and mountain towns get the same live storm, wind, rain and snow warnings — in Norwegian, with MET's own wording — that Irish, US and Canadian towns already have. The transit-status tool kind gained a third feed format (EFA XML_ADDINFO), so towns whose agency publishes disruptions through an EFA endpoint rather than GTFS-Realtime — like Heidelberg's rnv via VRN — can now have a live service board.
